I don't know why Kobe would be worried about Dwight Howard leaving. Don't they still have Jordan Hill? Can't Jordan Hill be a poor mans Dwight Howard with improvement?
I didnt say it definitely confirmed all that..just that it could be. He said he talked to him, and said he WILL meet with teams and talk with other teams players. It sounds like he probably talked to him about all the rumors and his plans. Was told ya I am talking to other teams and players and still thinking about what I am going to do or something like that. If kobe said that its him trying to make a statement like just because you hear all that doesnt mean he isnt coming back. Yah he will listen to others but at the end of the day lakers will get him back. The context and wording of his statement is defensive posturing. I feel like he is trying to spin the bad reports, but at the same time confirmed their existence. Yah I may be reading too much into it, but that is what I do for a living and I am right more often then not.
I think all it will take for Dwight to stay with the Lakers is for them to kiss his ass a little. His ego is bruised, and he needs some assurances from Kobe, Pringles, and ownership that things will be different next year.

Kind of a stretch lol. Dwight's often said to the media already that he'll take time and talk to teams and take in presentations. All he had to have done was tell Kobe the same thing he's told everyone else. Your job is to read too much into things on a daily basis? Sort of have to ask what your job is now haha.
Not the Lakers lol. They will just doubledown on insulting him and dare him to leave Hollywood. And it will probably work because he's sorta small-minded and looks to be susceptible to that type of thing

I mean, it could have been as innocent as a source/Woj asking Houston if they'd allow McHale to talk to Celts if Celts asked, or Celts asked to speak to McHale and Houston said no...but by the 5th page of the thread, people were talking about how McHale clearly wanted to reunite w/ KG in Boston and was ASKING OUT from Houston and how he's giving up a great thing here for an old, declining team in Boston, etc. Jeez, talk about escalating quickly lol.

Woj did an interview with Fox Sports and said that Dwight doesn't want to come to Houston. Game over!!!
What else is new at this point, he was only intrigued, nothing more. He wants to be in places he can't be, Brooklyn or LA Clippers probably. It's not like he loves this city or anything. He doesn't want anybody to win the finals in that interview, i like that.
