Haha Magic mentioned Sean Elliot thought this was over. Man...man I would have loved to listen to him call this game...
Will never be called a foul especially in those last seconds. If that's horrible officiating then lol...
I disagree. It's the Spurs that need to blow the Heat out. With only Parker on the Spurs side being able to penetrate, that's not a good look b/c Lebron is shutting him down. Manu just doesn't have anything left. Game 6 was eerily to game 5. Heat cut it down to 1 in the 3rd and the Spurs went on that run to make it 13 points. In game 5, that was the end of it. Game 6 the Heat showed some resiliance. But the Spurs won't win game 7 if it's a close game. They can't score with Lebron on Parker.
Interesting given that Elliot hit that three with his heels hanging over the sideline. Allen's three wasn't as dramatic, but somewhat similar.
Anyone got audio of Elliott calling the game? And while we're at it, is anyone recording the postgame show on the radio in San Antonio? Those callers must be on suicide watch right about now.
Umm... There was absolutely no foul on that play. If Green falls onto the bench b/c he takes a tough and chucking it to the side, it's not Bosh's fault. If anything, Lebron deserves more than 12 FTs tonight. Refs have been leaning toward the Spurs all series (+34 FTA for the series). So please, just don't bring the refs in here.
B/c that's the shot. If you can't see a foul when Green extends for the damn shot, where do you expect the foul to be? After the shot? You're going to fault Bosh's for Green's backward momentum?
Does it matter? If he get's all ball he can fly to the stands for all it matters. You've never seen players get body rejected and fall to the floor?
He got blocked pretty clean. Some minimal contact on the body, but him falling to the bench was because he didn't have much control the way he caught and faded.
Van Gundy, though I love him, is not the end all be all of opinions. Magic, Simmons, jalen, and Wilbon didn't say anything about it.
