Good point. This story really spooked me because after I was 14 but before I was 16, I was 15 just like this victim. There were also sharks in the ocean. I am a lucky man to be alive today.

Was it a stingray attack, or a stingray reaction? You can bet that if a Dallas man stepped on me, I'd attack the crap out of him too.
I saw an episode of River Monsters where Jeremy Wade (FISH ON!) revealed that someone down in South America was killed on her honeymoon when she stepped on a giant stingray. The thing barbed her ankle at just the right angle to where the barb didn't snap off when the stingray swam off. Instead, it dragged her with it and she drowned. She was not from Dallas so it was sad.
He has caught some absolutely crazy things that you really wouldn't believe existed unless you saw them. The show is a little campy at times, but none the less awesome. He can be a little Geraldo in Al Capone's tomb though when he catches something that impresses only himself.
I heard Abraham Lincoln was shot to death. Totally freaks me out because I was in Washington, D.C. 7 years ago for some training classes.
