The difference between Dream and Sampson from the other is that these two are centers and they are both incredibly dominant, talented, quick, agile, athletic and powerful. They both protect the paint and were just making a fool out of everyone. They were the Twin Towers because they were so much alike in so many ways. It is sad that Sampson got injured early in his career. Imagine if he stayed healthy and continue to play with the Rockets, how many championships would they have won in the 90s...

Bummed out that he was not talking much about his time here but mostly talked about what it was like under Don Nelson, in Sacramento, what if he would be picked to play alongside Kareem, Magic and Jordan.
KJ was a damn freak, his peak is as good as any PG's peak. He averaged 21 ppg, 11 apg, on 50% fgp, and 85% ftp over 4 years, with the suns winning 57/58 games a season during that stretch. Had multiple 20 ppg, 9 apg seasons after that extraordinary peak also. He had great speed and crazy, crazy hops. He was also very well spoken and stayed out of trouble. The antithesis of the pseudo-thug, trash talking knuckleheads who have been grabbing headlines in the assoc. for decades. KJ and King are both legitimate hall of famers IMO. King in particular was ridiculously determined to come back from chronic injuries and posted great numbers after his multiple rehabs so in that sense, his injuries absolutely should not count against him.

After watching this, there was suggested video that popped up - Hakeem Olajuwan: My Journey [HD]...definitely watch this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0noYeYKD6o&feature=player_embedded
Sampson's a legend, but Ewing definitely got the better of him in their one and only college matchup. Wasn't that the 2nd highest rated ncaa basketball game in history?
You didn't watch ralph play nor did you even try reading this great article about Ralph written by one our own clutchfans KD Why don't just Dnp like mcgrady from these great threads?
Short NBA career but that's why its the Basketball Hall of Fame (high school, college.....etc). Well deserved. Basketball is entertainment and he was one of the most fun to watch. I get pumped watching young Akeem and Sampson torture other teams those first couple of seasons. Talent wise you could argue that the Admiral and Duncan were better but not nearly as impressive or fun to watch as Dream and Sampson. Is free agency here yet? Let's make a new twin towers.
