I knew Joey Crawford would surface up at some critical point. Of all the refs he can be the most likely game changer.
That is the absolute stupidest thing I've heard- wait, then why did they finish off the Thunder in 5? I'm assuming your post was dripping with sarcasm, otherwise your insider is extremely foolish to believe that Riley, of all people, want 7 games when 4 would do.
That makes no sense whatsoever, Pat Riley and Micky Arison are not the ones on the court. Being lazy and losing games does not benefit the Heat players one bit, it's not good for their image, it's not good for their legacy, it's not good for their endorsement opportunities and it puts them in a very risky situation in which they can lose the championship if they have a unlucky shooting night and their opponent have a lucky shooting night.
Total number of ft's doesn't necessarily tell that story, if the teams see how certain actions are going to be called & are forced to adjust accordingly. To me, it's been obvious that the refs have let the winner of each game do pretty much what they want to (like muddy water between holding & excellent pass protection in the nfl, how much slap you let slide on blocks and defense). Maybe riley isn't the only one who likes 7 game series. Still, I don't get the anger about less than legit competition from those who for instance jokingly threatened to watch wwf instead etc. It's even less real. Or what about movies, we know those are not real & still watch, sometimes rooting for certain outcomes& characters. Nba might not be 100% real, but still compelling. I'm not mad whether the bad guy or good guy wins, just some stories & endings are better than others.

haha ooooh it's on now! Sounds like these guys are coming to play tonight. Yeah let's see how many 3's danny green can make with bosh raptor screaming in his FACE.
Of course, the refs always favor the team clutchfan haters want to lose. It used to always be the Lakers, now it's the small market Heat team. The calls have gone the spurs way.
I see nobody took me up on my tipjar bet offer. You Spurs fans aren't as confident as you are acting. Guys, go here -> spurstalk.com
They're anti-Heat and anti-jgreen91 fans. The whole Heat owner wants 7 games is as ridiculous as it gets. You can't possibly believe that
Can these nut huggers be any more obnoxious about their idol and team? If LeBron wins his second, big whoop. Damn. Congrats, for being an a-hole while rooting for your team. Big props for that.
whether the Heat wins or not does not change the fact that your latest theory on when Heat lose= they are just being lazy is a total head scratcher and what's with people acting as if a team or player's accomplishment is somehow related to themselves and gloating about someone else's accomplishments
