Players refuse to or don't workout with teams all the time. Why workout with the Hornets if you know that if you don't the Lakers will trade for the pick and you can play for them instead.

He might have had it like LeBron. It takes a special GM to let Boozer trick you into giving him up for nothing.

LeBron got flack for the way he left Cleveland and who he decided to team up with. The hate for LeBron would have been nowhere near what it became to be if he had chosen to team up with Amare in NY and didn't have a TV special to announce it.

Lebron is 3 rebounds short of leading both teams in total points, rebounds, and assists. He isn't playing well, but he still producing stats all over the place.

Has anyone ever done that before, aside from LeBron himself previously?

It's amazing how high a bar he's set for expectations- he's better at everything, than everyone else on the greatest stage, among the elite of the elite, & the haters have the gall to perpetuate a "chokes again" thread?! We truly are spoiled by his level of play.

Le Bron is a freak of nature, amazing athletic skills, incredible basketball skills. But you know what, so was TMac. TMac was just amazing "at times," but injuries, attitude, distractions, whatever, prevented him from being one of the truly greats of the game. Le Bron is not TMac, but he is not Jordan either. He is not even Kobe. And he may never be. I think expectations are off the charts for him. I'm not sure he can "take over a game" every game like Jordan did. You knew when "Jordan time" clicked in and nobody was going to stop him. I don't see that with LeBron.

He hasn't been better than everybody when it comes to scoring. It is taking him 20 shots to average 21 points.

Why is it sad? The thread was created by hater. LBJ is undeniably the best basketball player at this point, who in his right might will create a thread about him choking again, as if chokers get 4MVPs on a regular basis.

Pretty sure he will not break the streak of alternating Heat wins and losses for game 7 (assuming he gets to game 7, which I am sure they will). He is a great player, sure, be he is not the legend that he has been made out to be by so many. Too much hype. He is not going to revolutionize basketball like Jordan, ever.

A same TV special that earned charity money.

I'd take that over some hurt feelings any day.

He shouldn't be 1-3 in the NBA finals series (Which could happen) having Wade 3 times also

    COME ON MAN!!

The decision was a bad PR choice even though it did some good for kids. LeBron could have done many other things to raise money for charity.

It was one bad PR move a long time ago, and it's kind of ridiculous that people are using that to discredit LeBron. The truth is that he was hated on well before that because he was great and heavily hyped by the league and there's this thing called schadenfreude that makes us want to see successful people fail. This is especially true when there are jealous fanbases like the Kobe Kult that feel the need to protect the legacy of their idols. So let's not prompt this revisionist history that LeBron was dearly beloved before "the decision". I remember him being called out as being a quitter and choker well before that.

My original prediction was Heat in 7 and I still think that will be the case.

LerBon needs to get back to dancing on the sidelines and fun-tastic pregame rituals with teammates.

LeBron was for sure a fan favorite before the decision. However, almost every athlete is hated on. Hating and loving athletes/teams is part of sports and being a fan. There were also many reasons to dislike/hate LeBron before the decision whether it was his dancing on the sidelines or one of the other douche things he would do. Not every athlete is going to be liked. Plenty of people hate Kobe and there are legitimate reasons for that too.
