Who's the best point guard in the NBA?

Who's the best center in the NBA?

Will the Lakers have a better team than the Clippers? And you're assuming they'll trade Dwight to the Clips because they would love to see him fail with them? Are we in high school?

Aside from the Clips having a Paul-Howard duo, they will also have cap flexibility after this coming season or next to add another star.

I think bringing in Doc Rivers does though. He's probably the number one coach CP3 would want to play for.

    This says two things.

    1) We are involved with talks somehow with Boston.

    2) We value McHale very highly.

I think this Asik for Cap Space deal that was mentioned earlier may be a thing.

Dwight knows where we stand. If he wants to be a Rocket he can be one. He's not forced to sign with the Clippers

Again, the Lakers, given how much pride and tradition their franchise has, will NEVER let their own interstate rival to have a super team. Trading Dwight to the Clippers and pair him up with Chris Paul would just be the start of a dynasty because the Clippers will have max salary cap space to add another star in '15 while being mentored by Doc Rivers.

I'm starting to get that feeling that we won't get Dwight, but will get some major piece out of some oddly convoluted deal that works itself out in early-mid July. Where we end up feeling like we lost out on Dwight, but still got something decently nice but a question mark because no one had considered x move beforehand. And we remain w/ cap flexibility for next summer so hope is left out there. In other words, Morey up to his old sly tricks while simultaneously falling a bit short lol.

Dwight has already made a preliminary decision. Unless something major happens in Los Angeles or Houston, he already knows where he's going.

    Ramona Shelburne:

I think we'll know by today or Tuesday. Either it gets done or it falls apart and Clippers hire Shaw or Hollins. I think it'll happen today.

Clippers are digging their heels in and we won't give you everything. That's why they walked away and said call us when you're ready to make a deal.

    Howard and Griffin next?

Clippers are interested in Howard, of course. Paul would like to play with Howard but it's such a big deal and difficult thing to pull off. I don't think it will happen. I've been told trading Griffin is very, very unlikely. They love him. I don't think it's going to happen.

Who's more hesitant - Clippers or Lakers?

Lakers are telling me, the main domino is re-signing Howard. If he's leaving, they have a choice to make. Let him go for nothing, save the cap space, roll on with the Nash, Kobe, & Gasol. That is the more likely option. However, if they have the option of getting a superstar, you have to listen. I've heard that the idea/talk of not doing a deal with the Clippers is overblown. That deal is highly unlikely.

Woj was posting yesterday that the Clippers didn't want to get rid of Bledsoe or Jordan. It's possible that the trade includes neither or just one. It's an interesting situation. I guess we will have to wait and see how this all plays out.

Well than bledsoe for garnett package...Then us sending asik for pierce makes too much sense. Guess we will see how this plays out

Us sending Asik for Pierce so we can buy out Pierce and he goes to the Clippers makes zero sense, especially since something like $5 million of Pierce's contract is guaranteed. It would buy us very little cap space and we'd be giving up our best trade asset outside of Parsons.

Exactly. Bosh or Gasol or some consolation prize that would have been the main target a few years ago, perhaps.

Say what you will the deal is not imminent and Bledsoe is still up for trade. No one has said he is completely out of trade talks, only that they're willing to compromise.

Good job jumping into an A and B conversation, now you should just C your way out. Thanks.
