Thought this was an interesting bit of info and shouldn't be buried in other long threads...

So, Boston is already putting feelers out there for potential coaching candidates to replace Doc. Interesting.

Posted this in the CP3/Dwight thread.

I think this means that we are in discussions somehow with Boston. I think that insider discussing a trade involving Asik may be accurate.

If we really trade Asik like previously posted, that means we are overwhelmingly confident about Dwight.

I think this means....absolutely nothing and you should carry on with business as usual.

How does the Rockets not giving up McHale turn into the Rockets trading Asik? I'm just wondering where that bridge was built.....

Of course the Rockets wouldn't let that happen.

This has nothing to do with anything.

Only to not coach at all, due to personal reasons

Not really. Boston could have inquired, and the Rockets could have said no without even talking to McHale. They have no obligation to do so.

I wouldn't mind if Rox let McHale leave but McHale would be stupid to leave the Rox for the Celtics right now. Rox are shifting upward while Celtics downward.
