Wade has been playing phenominal in terms of the context of the game. He has been the true leader thus far.
Down 3-2 against Boston. Elimination game against Indiana. Miami has proven they can win must games. I fully expect them to be the champs come Thursday night.
You're freakin' confused, all right. In the first place, this is a basketball forum. In the second, the Oilers ceased to exist when their ******* of a owner moved them to some stupid border state inhabited by demented wannabe Houstonians. So why don't you take your stupid analogies to the "football" forum. Thanks in advance.
I can't read this thread anymore. Between the morons b****ing about the officials and the NBA 'fixing' these games in a series that has been well-officiated and non-controversial, and the others whose analysis every single time the Heat lose is that they are 'unmotivated' as if they could possibly come out not motivated for a Game 5 of an NBA Finals in a season where they busted their ass winning 27 straight and 66 overall, the good posts and discussion gets lost in the sea of garbage and it aggravates me. It's like everybody's 13 years old.
almost every positive thing he's done he made as many negative plays. he been terrible on defense most of the series. leaving green open. making bad turnovers. i wouldn't call that phenominal
Down 3-2 vs Dallas returned home and laid an egg. It can go either way. BOS is prone to choking leads and struggling to close out series 2009 2nd round squandered 3-2 series lead 2010 Finals squandered 3-2 series 2012 ECF squandered 3-2 series 2008 1st round went the distance vs ATL in 1st round. A sub .500 team that wouldn't even make playoffs out West San Antonio has its fair share of choking but its not Boston
its not hes leaving Green wide open its age taking a toll he's gotta pick his spots if he wants to be the D-Wade on offense hes gotta conserve on Defense
I don't know, but I put emphasis on the fact that when down, they need a bucket...wade pulls some play out of his ass on a consistent basis during this series.
The Rox haven't had the hype like the Heat have had ever in their existence. Like Lebron expressed, they're winning "Not 1...not 2...not 3...not 4..." not to keep harping on it but the hype is back firing at this so far. Series not over but I don't see an all time great dynasty brewing for the Heat.
They needed him the first two games though. No matter what happens, I think the Heat are going to be shopping Chris Bosh around. He's been exposed all playoffs long. You look at the third option of teams that make it this far...he just does not have that competitive fire.
Lebron to have a monster game 6. For the sake of his legacy, I hope he does. Manu had a completely opposite game today than on Thurs. What gives?! Stole Wade's meds?
but when they heat started to get momentum he's made bad plays as well. one point of the game wade tried to go 1 vs 4, turned the ball over, trotted back on D, and gave green a 3. only time he stepped up on both sides for 4 quarters was in 1 game
It's kind of funny reading all of the Lebron is playing terrible post while folks praise D-Wade when in both games their stats were similar. I know stats don't tell the whole story but just looks like Wade has been so average in these playoffs that anytime he has a 20 pt game folks act like he just had an amazing game.
i would agree they have to be favored. however i wouldn't fully expect them to win, simply b/c once a team gets up 3-2 in the finals they can really taste that champagne on their tongues already. especially a team as old and experienced as the sperms. they know this is their last chance and i think we will see some great great performances out of them on tuesday. hakeem's block on starks at the end of game 6 notwithstanding, the knicks probably would have won in '94 after being up 3-2 as well.
Who knows. You'd think when they get down that Spo would try some other things out. He does bring a lot of energy and he didn't play any last game either.
