Castro also finished last season strong. He got off to a slow start while still recovering, sporting a .544 OPS through May 20. Hit his 1st HR May 21, since then

    2012 200 PA .281/.362/.468 6 HR .830 OPS
    2013 240 PA .266/.325/.472 9 HR .797 OPS

    ST 47 PA .349/.404/.814 6 HR 1.218 OPS

Power still might come down a little, but i think his OBP will also come up a little. Dudes legit, even better than I expected

If he levels off against lefties, he's an all-star level player

Hoping to see the most attended game since Opening Day today. Father's Day, a win streak, a WS foe, and summer baseball. This series has been a better draw than those of late (21K for the past two). The only game that has been an outlier is the 27K game against Texas on a Saturday. It may not mean much, but seeing that stadium full just makes me smile.

Those Hector Ambriz numbers are terrifying.

I'm so proud of the Astros right now, but is it wrong that I'm watching Rodon carve up UNC right now, hoping we lose enough to get him? I hate that mentality, but it's a long term goal here.

Eh... Astros won't catch the Marlins. I think they'll be at least 5-7 games clear by the All-Star break.

The Marlins have a played an easier schedule and show no sign of improving. T-u-r-b-u-l. Just turrrrible.

Was a fun game at the park today! Lots of orange and blue in the stands even though the ChiSox had a lot of fans in attendance.

He has to. He is just now finishing up his sophomore season.

Was at the game today. 3b side right next to the LFer. I was in the row right in front of the guy who caught the screaming foul ball with one bare hand. I had my daughter in my hands (her first Astro game) and when the ball was coming at us I ducked her behind the seats so she wouldn't get hit.

That was such an amazing catch! I was third base side 112. He did it all without spilling a drop of that marg.

115 for me. An old man came up to him afterwards and said, "I have been going to baseball games since I was 8 years old, and I have never seen anything like that." He then proceeded to fist bump him.

The usher from our section took the guy's name and gave him a certificate for catching the ball. They also had that creepy CSN lady interview him as the Progressive fan of the game.

Didn't his kid get a foul ball later in the game?

Don't you guys think he will be an all-star this year considering we still have to have at least 1 per team? Maybe Bud instead? He looks like a top 5 catcher in my book the way he is playing.

Yeah I see Castro definitely making it. I doubt Bud makes it this year, and altuve has cooled off a bit
