I'm in Maui right now too! Just got in today. Staying at the Sheraton. I can't wait to go snorkeling. I'm definitely going to try out the Road of Hana.

My 2 cents for big island its Kona all the way.

I prefer the drive around the north side of maui. Road to hana was a bit of a yawner for me. Red sand beach at the end of trip on road to hana was pretty cool.. but that blow hole on the north side of maui is neat. Overall the drive along coast from lahaina around along kannapali up into 1 lane and in mountains is awesome..to me is a better than road to hana. Heck I would go see the iao needle first before road to hana. again just my 2 cents

Mona Kini snorkel trip 7am sharp this morning. If your driving yourself to Hana get a convertible. The tour bus is an all day affair if you go that rout.

Molokini Crater was some of the best snorkeling I've ever done
Haleakala National Park is also badass from the top
Kapalua Golf Course was awesome but I played like **** that day and lost a bunch of expensive balls

check out Boiling Pots in the Wailuku River State Park on the Hilo side. you can jump off the rocks from about 20 or 30 feet into the watering hole below...

at the Volcanoes National Park, there is a lodge within the grounds called the Volcano House. it sits on the top of the crater looking down into Kilauea. the restaurant was nice and the legend of the fire in the fireplace is that is has been tended to for the last hundred years and has never gone out...

I loved exploring the lava tubes and rainforest near and within the national park.

I also enjoyed the black sand beaches as well as the Southernmost Point of the United States. we didn't do the hike to the green sand beaches...

damn I missed it. Can you explain because I do love willie.

Lately Ive been on this one quite a bit:

Willie is the only like I have on facebook. Maybe you are insulting me or joking with me because you nailed it.. but I am okay with that because I do love me some willie.

I did get jobbed on some fake weed in maui and the guy took off. Not one of my better moments but that's part of doing business when dealing with the black market. maui wowy

Not joking bro its cool as hell there. Willie has a house and all the hippy people have stores. Willie and his son will play local when he's not touring just for fun. You literally can smell weed if you go there. The hippy people are super nice.
