    Sign Dwight.

    Use bird rights to re-sign Lin, Asik, Parsons, Beverley in 2015.

    Use $5.5m MLE from 2014 to sign veterans.

    Nice find, HMMMHMM! I know it's part of the Rockets strategy to get Howard/Paul to sign with us, but still great to hear. And I don't doubt that Rockets management mean it, either. :)-

    Really hoping the Rockets land Howard. CP3 and Dwight is a pipe dream IMO. After a Howard signing it would be a lot of fun watching how the dominos fall.

    Let's hope this offseason is not a letdown, I'm cautiously optimistic.

    What is great to hear IMHO is that DM the GM is putting together a quality, big-time presentation (to offset [at least] my fears of the supersalesmanesque Cuban) to help convince Howard and/or whomever that Houston has the winning plan!

    We may not see this come to anything, but I'm impressed with how Morey and company are conducting this campaign. We're not seeing the "iPad" thingy, or the goofy bus tour this time. Daryl has clearly learned as he's had this job. And I'm diggin' it!

    I still can't imagine Howard leaving the opportunity to be a super millionaire in Southern California to live in Houston. Kobe may only have a couple years left but the Lakers will always be in the running for the big free agents.
