That's just the way the game is called nowadays. LeBron's dunk was especially bad and the ref unfortunately missed it. Let's not pretend though that LeBron and Wade are the only ones who benefit from this. The whole league is reffed similarly with respect to the two-step rule so there is no unfair advantage gained, IMO.
I just watched both again and DD has a point on the LeBron dunk. Even if you argue the gather step it's still looked like a travel to me. The Wade one however wasn't anywhere close to a travel.
I don't mind him "hating on the Heat" at all, but I do wish he'd stay away from that Spurs site. It's more about pictures all over the place... avatars, images out the kazoo in signatures, etc., etc., than content worth reading. Heck, that one site is all the example Clutch needs to convince himself that we shouldn't have avatars. The place is a joke.
nothing wrong with just avatars. the problem with spurs talk is they let you have 923476574836 pictures in your sig. that and all the trolls on that site.
What about the play on the left low block tonight? Lebron posts up, spins baseline, then bunny hops for the throw down with no dribble.
Because he can? I honestly don't know. I also don't know where he finds the time. This place keeps me plenty occupied in the world of Basketball BBS's, and it revolves around my favorite sports team, now that the Oilers are ancient history.
Poppycock! I am not on the Spurs board hating on anyone, rarely post there at all. I do know however that someone cloned my name and added a period after it and sometimes pretends to be me. As for apology, accepted and I reffed high school just this last year, been an official for a long time. You used to get 1 and 1/2 step now it is a full 2, not 2 and 1/2, looks like a travel to me. I dont but if I did why would it matter to you, and how would you know unless you were there? BTW - Hadn't been there in more than a year, but did go just update my profile. Thanks, DD
It's disgusting how perimeter players now get an extra step compared to post players, and the jump stop rules are just a joke. But they're pretty consistently called. Harden is not quite as abusive of these rules as LBJ and Wade, but he's up there.
Wow that was totally uncalled for and you should get an infraction or negged. I agree with you that really isn't a travel since everyone does it and it all depends on how you make it look, Wade makes it look smooth so its easier to watch...but your ad hominem attacks are out of line.
Yeah I was watching Parker dribble closely a few times and he carries the thing all the time. A lot of players get away with stuff, LeBron is just scrutinized because he's the best.
