That's because every other league in the world is **** and wouldn't stand a chance against an NBA team. I bet the Bobcats could whoops 99% of all the other basketball teams on the planet.

If they are so offended then why aren't they trying to prove the NBA wrong? Because they can't. Plain and simple.

NBa is the best, n strongest basketball league in the world, consisting of the best players in the world. Therefore every NBA team that wins a championship has a right to say that they're the world champs. Any NBA team would pretty much beat any team in the world (team not a country).

 

Whether the NBA championship is "world championship" has been debated a lot here. Basically, people confuse "champion" with "best team." Champion is a fact, the winner of a real tournament. "Best team" is an opinion. Opinions, no matter how reasonable are not facts.

The NBA is the best league in the world. The NBA champion is probably the best professional basketball team in the world. But the NBA is not a world league. NBA champion is not world champion because it does not win in a world tournament. The Olympic champion is a world champion although it is probably not the best team in the world.

I'm pretty sure if they had such a tournament, consisting of best world teams, that NBA champion would destroy em all by big margins. So why even bother? It would look like the dream team in the 90's.

Why even bother? Why did the dream team even play? Why did all the other teams even play? Why even have a tournament? Just fill out the roster on a piece of paper and judge which team will win.

that's not a given in a 1 game elimination format. In a 1 game format, luck will play a huge factor, that's why there are so many upsets in NCAA. In the 08 and 12 Olympics, team USA didn't exactly blow out teams like Lithuania or Spain
