    i wish it was christmas right now! it's like a billion degrees outside.

    got to hand it to perry, he's all about the kids. the only thing better was is girls could get a vaccination shot on christmas day!

    Nice to see where his priorities are...defending teachers' rights to say Merry Christmas. Far more important than adequately funding education, addressing the overwhelming problem of standardized testing, teacher appraisal reform that makes sense.

    I refuse to say "Merry Christmas" ever again. It has always been my go-to holiday greeting, but these persecution complex Christians really annoy the crap out of me. I am going to abstain from saying it solely out of spite.

    I might not even get a Holiday Tree this year.

    While I think the Merry Christmas law is dumb..its important to note that he also just signed a law that eliminates 10 of the 15 STARR tests. It also removed the requirement of 4yrs of english, math, social studies, and science in order to allow non-college bound students to take more trade skills oriented classes.
