Better a sheep than a douche.

Was all of the "I'm a contrarian, I swim against the current" reeeeeaaally worth it?

Let it go. Damn. You made your point. Move on. Go outside and play.

No because then it would be what does Clutch know he's just trying to make a buck by perpetuating rumors to increase site hits.

Ctry already hinted at such a scheme. Not too bright IMO.

Im not a DockRocket hater but when was the last time he was ever right about something. The only legit, credible insider we have is cyberx.

Cyberx told us exactly what people close to howard have been saying. Cyberx gave us alot of informations weeks before it was spread throughtout the media.

Was that "2 yrs ago?" Or was it Nov, 2007. And what did he say in the PM. Like you, I'm not sure emails from him are really him, anymore.

If anyone has a recent email address, I can give you a question to ask him, that only he will know.

Seriously, I don't see how this is insider news worthy. Everybody and his granny know that the Rockets are after Howard. And since we are still in June, Doc Rocket or any insider (including Morey himself) can't know that it's a done deal or it would have been tampering.

    You're right. I'm done.

Although, who's really taking things seriously when us 'contrarians' have been flamed since like page 2

Its news because Doc has proven himself to people smart enough to figure out his posts. He didnt say yay we are going after howard. He acts as if it is done.

I would say this means that either or both of Parsons and Howard has gotten strong indication from Howard that he is coming here.

That is my feeling too. Maybe he is just taking a gamble with his rep and acting as if he knows it done based on the same info we have. Or maybe he heard from one of the players that howard told them he was coming here.

Regardless this isnt a Houston is going after howard thread...its a its basically a sure thing thread.

Maybe Doc is talking about the movie that's coming out tomorrow? Management can't even talk to Dwight. Think ya'll are reading too much into this.

If Harden is acting as a medium between Dwight and the Rockets to come to an agreement of any kind and the intel from those conversations are well known enough for an insider on clutchfans to hear about it would be mega tampering and the Rockets will almost certainly get caught.

I just don't see the Rockets taking that kind of risk when they are close to making a serious run at him in a couple weeks. If anything is leaking out about Dwight's decision I doubt it's coming from the Rockets side. That would have to be coming from either the Lakers front office or Dwight's reps.

I'm not saying Doc Roc didn't hear anything legit, but I doubt it's coming from the Rockets side and I don't think Morey is dumb enough to count his chickens before they hatch.

Folks, it's Dwight Howard we are talking about. It's still very possible that he has a change of heart in the coming weeks despite the intel he's already leaked out. Dwight coming to Houston is far from a sure thing.

lol how is that? You dont think they talk? The league would have to have HARD legal evidence like a voice recording or a email transcript to do ANYTHING about it.

you are off your rocker if you do not think that if howard tells players hes coming to houston that they do not subtly get that message to the organization.

The heat did...we know that because there is NO WAY...an organization guts itself the way they did unless they were pretty confident that they were gonna get all 3.

If lebron chose to stay in Cleveland and bosh went to chicago...Pat Riley would have been crucified. And the Miami Heat would have been half as good as the bobcats. Because you know wade would have left himself.

I didn't say players don't talk ever... Come on now. The point is this intel wouldn't be coming from the Rockets, and I doubt they will count their chickens until July when he signs on the dotted line.

Harden and Parson might have told Morey that he is 100% going to sign in Houston, but they still wouldn't leak out intel that Dwight is for sure coming to Houston because that's how they would get caught. Any source that would leak info out might also sell them out to the league front office.

Check the news from this past week. Stern can go after the Rockets for pretty much anything. No question they have the evil eye heavily watching down on the city of Houston.

So I again will just say, I doubt this information is coming from the Rockets front office.

Thats not true if I was one of the inner circle id probably be so excited I would tell my close friends that we feel extremely confident from what we are hearing from our players that Dwight is coming here.

Shoot the second I hear anything positive I shoot off a group text to my friends, and we talk about it.

Then I would say now dont go post that on clutchfans!

Sure Morey and co can make statements to folk like we feel confident in our pursuit... Yada yada.... But leaking any information that there is some type of communication between the two parties that is the reason for their confidence is highly unlikely.

The rockets are already getting burned with fines for very minor infractions. I'm positive they are playing this hand close to the chest.

If not I'm sincerely concerned about the hammer coming down from Big Brother.
