Dwyane Wade for entire playoffs: 14.2 ppg
Chris Bosh for entire playoffs: 12.8 ppg

The last time a team won the title with its second banana avg 14.2 ppg or less was in 1994 when Hakeem's second leading scorer Otis Thorpe averaged 14pts, 11rpg.

Only time since then a team even made the Finals with its 2nd leading playoff scorer under that was in 2007, when a 22yr old Lebron lost to the big three with Zydrunas at 12.6ppg and 10 rpg

:pAn injured Tony Parker means more Tracy McGrady. He IS the insurance policy, and he doesn't do much scoring these days.:p

So are the Heat going to 'try' this time around? Because, we all know, the only reason they ever lose is because they aren't trying. I mean, they are the best team ever; they can afford to take games off in th NBA Finals, right?

Don't be silly. The Heat were trying in game 3. They cut the lead down only to see it get back up to 6 before halftime. The Spurs thoroughly outplayed them like the Heat did to the Spurs in game 2. Miami's body languauge was one of a frustrated nature. 3 after 3..some contested but mostly the opposite left them demoralized.

So he's going to score the Spurs first 4 points and go 2/5 for the game?

THIS JUST IN: Tony Parker (hamstring strain) says he'll "be ready to go" for Game 4 of NBA Finals tonight.

"I think Miami broke the Spurs tonight. They put that 33-5 explosion on them and then that LeBron block will forever be in their minds."

It's interesting that LeBron was supposed to be a one-man show in Cleveland. So he took his talents to South Beach to a team supposedly were stockpiling good to great players. Now all these good to great players are playing like mediocre players. What gives?

Wade's knee, They're in the nba finals with their 2nd best player playing crippled, and all people do is moan about how they're not good enough.

Mike Miller might start (per ESPN). What do you think: desperate move or bold? Either way, when was the last time a starting line-up change occurred in the Finals, it's not that common right?

that is a very smart move. The fact he was playing at all over shane really hurt the spurs.

It hurt the Spurs at one end of the floor only.

I don't know who left their man open for an uncontested three more often in game 3, Wade or Miller, but Wade was at least on the court a lot more.

Miller giveth and he also taketh away.

The Spurs lose nothing and probably get better when they play Leonard at the 4. They get an extra shooter just like the Heat but they don't have to sacrifice at the defensive end.
