Seems like there's definitely a Rope A Dope effect on Lebron. Count me as surprised, in this series on this. We witnessed what may very well have been, one of the greatest single seasons a player has played in the history of the NBA. And he was arguably the best player in the league. To then come in the playoffs, and repeatedly get smacked around? We expect more from LeBron James, because he set that bar that high for himself this season. He was the most dominant player. If they lose this Finals, the Jordan legacy will undoubtedly live one. His half assed playoff performances with Cleveland, and and then this series? But, to have the Big Three with Lebron at the helm, and only win 1 of three Finals? The other thing is coaching I know. But I was in the camp that though Lebron would tip the scale.
Crap like this is why I will continue to root for Lebron unless he's playing against Houston. Go back to the ESPN message boards. Hate is not good for your heart.
I dont get this constant hate on Lebron... While he has to make shots when they are just daring him to shoot, Lebron is a heck of a player... Right now the Heat collectively are just playing like total..$hit...they have this habit of turning it on and off...and that is irritating...but Lebron really does bring it every night...Right now the team wide funk has kinda rubbed off on Lebron...But you have to understand, the Spurs are playing tremendous team defense...keeping Lebron out of the paint... I expect a monster game in game 4 from LBJ...but I still dont think it is gonna be enough to beat such an efficient Spurs team
Except Kobe didn't even take shots in the second half and played like a little b**** against the Suns in that one elimination game.
The man won the MVP unanimously. Fans were anticipating a historic Playoff run from him because of the season. He was unstoppable. It isnt hate, when he's not producing or being clutch, save game one against the Pacers. Lebron isnt playing the way we all know he's capable of playing.
refer to my other post...but how about giving credit to the Spurs defense...they have shut down the paint and daring the Heat to beat them via jumpers...hence why Wade's not even effective...the only players that are successful is Miller and Bosh(sadly)...
Its just ridiculous that people are comparing TMAC to LEBRON. LeBron may go down as a top three player ALL TIME. TMAC while great, was not even close.
