Sony doesn't screw up on electronics. They make quality. I'd be worried with Microsoft and their hardware problems. Getting it at launch would be playing with fire.

Details still not fully released, but it was one of the things that caught my attention the most. Someone correct me if Im wrong...but basically, Microsoft and the NFL have partnered up. You'll be able to watch live NFL games through the XBone while your screen updates you with your fantasy stats. Or you can just be watching other channels while having your fantasy stats update on the tv.

Imagine if you and a few of your friends have the xbox...you can all watch whatever games you want on your own tv, while all the fantasy stats update in real time...and while you are all skyping each other simultaneously. I think it could be a pretty cool experience if it's done right.

Still waiting to hear more about it, but I like the direction that XBox is going with pushing the limits of technology.

Yeah I think it's pretty much what you described. I'm wondering which fantasy site will be supported -- most likely guessing that NFL.com will. Possibly ESPN? As a fantasy football guy, I'm looking forward to it hoping it does become something successful.

So for those of us who only play Madden and GTA, do I have to buy the PS4 to play the next Madden game and/or GTA V?

No. They'll both be available on PS3 and Xbox 360. I believe GTA is coming out in September while Madden is coming out in late August.

I have the original 60 gig PS3 about a month after it came out and I've only had 1 problem in 9 yeasr. I put in my own bigger drive and about 5 years later it failed and I had to reformat it. I should have known better and backed up the drive to an external since at the end of the day, it's a hard drive.

    Cool, thanks.

GTA V + Madden + the start of football season = greatest month EVER.

My PSX & PS2 both failed on me. Of course both had heavy use over several years before they failed. PSX went down a couple months before the PS2 came out, and the PS2 failed a week before the slim version came out.

I don't think I've had a Nintendo console quit working. My NES, SNES, Gamecube, Wii, DS, 2 N64s, and Gameboy Color all still work.

Apparently Microsoft paid $400m to the nfl for their deal so should be interesting what they have in store.

I'd own a PS3 if they hadn't gotten rid of that.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Are you saying that I'll be able to watch any and every NFL game on the Xbone (like Sunday ticket)?

Edit: I'm pretty sure that this is wishful thinking.

They have. The 20gig and 60gig launch consoles are no longer in production. The fat 80gig was the last to offer bc.

Eventually consoles will move onto an all digital game distribution, seems like people just aren't ready to adapt just yet. It is inevitable though.

I would guess with a Sunday Ticket subscription, you'll likely be able to watch games on there. A partnership like that with the NFL, I would be very surprised if they left Sunday Ticket off. Of course, the PS3 (and PS4) have that ability as well.
