    I like how you are ignoring that the bill was crafted by an equal number of Republicans and Democrats. Also more than 80 Senators voted to bring the bill to the floor. Just because Ted Cruz got spanked, doesn't mean it was only Democrats doing the spanking. His own party delivered some swats as well.

    Again, politics.

    Republicans who helped craft bill and who voted to bring it to floor know it won't pass House and they get to look good on immigration during next cycle.

    Exactly what the Demos are doing.

    Both sides play politics way too much when it comes to legislation in this country. They add ridiculous earmarks and pork spending to great bills and turn them to trash.

    Oh, I see... So the Republicans crafted the bill to fail. If that was the case then why didn't they just let the Democrats craft a bill that would have suited them more instead of compromise that's out there?

    Are you sure it won't pass the house? It might.

    Almost every common sense Republican amendment to the bill was turned down because of Demo majority. Demos are the driving force behind the out of control locomotive. Time will tell who this thing blows up on.

    When the bill was crafted by 4 R's and 4 D's it makes no sense to say only one party is behind it.

    Of course the fact that you'd like for nothing to be done on immigration is telling.

    Ted Cruz is awesome. It is refreshing to have someone who could care less about being politically correct and say what needs to be said. I am sure the left will try to destroy him soon out of fear.
