Phone Call Links Benghazi Attack To Al Qaeda Commander Gee, wonder why they didn’t tell us about this? Given that Al Qaeda said they would be back after the June 6 attack, would that not be the first choice of suspect? http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/05/world/africa/benghazi-al-qaeda/index.html (CNN) -- Shortly after the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi last September, a phone call was placed from the area. Whoever made the call was excited. “Mabruk, Mabruk!” he repeated, meaning “Congratulations” in Arabic. Two sources with high-level access to Western intelligence services have told CNN the call was made to a senior figure in al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM. There is no proof that the call was specifically about the attack, in which U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed, but the sources say that is the assumption among those with knowledge of the call. One of the sources says the phone call was discovered when a Western intelligence service trawled through intercepts of communications made in the wake of the attack. That source told CNN that the call was made specifically to Moktar Belmoktar, leader of an al Qaeda faction based in northern Mali. CIA officials told CNN they had no comment on whether any call had been intercepted. Keep reading… http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/05/world/africa/benghazi-al-qaeda/index.html

got any recommendations? Let me guess.. msnbc? huff post? cnn? NYT? CBS? ABC? NBC? Trashing Fox is so passe.. it doesn't work anymore.
No it's not. It's a totally directed propaganda machine and you are a prime example of the chump they exploit. They fuel your outrage to sell you soap.
Shouldn't there be a box for Kevin Bacon in that monstrously oversized graphic? (btw, making it bigger doesn't make it more credible)
I didn't size it. How about buying a higher res monitor and maybe add something to this debate instead of trolling. Trolling doesn't make whatever your babbling about more credible.
Nakoula was jailed for violating the terms of his probation. He was convicted of bank fraud and a condition of his release required he not use aliases. He used an alias in making his movie and lied to his parole officer and investigators about using an alias and about his involement in the movie. He has also previously been convicted of the manufacture of meth. The guy is a very unsavory fellow. His convictions don't really have anything to do with blasheming Mohammed excepting that he didn't have the good sense to keep a low profile whilst violating his parole. Also, while the ambassador's assassination was not the result of this film, it was the source of many protests in Egypt and other Muslim countries in which scores of people were injured and killed. Just because it was a red herring in the Benghazi case doesn't mean all the outrage caused by the movie was fabricated. Fox News would have you think it all much ado about nothing.
Anyone with the capacity for abstract rational thought understands there is nothing substantive left to debate in regards to a "coverup." So who's really the troll?
Any body seen any polls showing if anyone besides the Fox News crowd cares squat about the Bengazi "scandal"? It is funny that it is about all the conservatives got.
It's kinda weird and sad how people on both sides care about the wrong things. Wish more political focus is being made on the NSA stories. This bull**** is all about generating perceptions of who's weaker on security in the upcoming elections. It appears the media is doing well at making people afraid of random imaginary monsters.
http://mediamatters.org/mobile/blog/2013/06/27/no-benghazi-stand-down-order-was-given-another/194644 Hey, what do you know - turns out no one was ever told to stand down in the Benghazi "scandal". This is what happens when people jump on one random source and just believe whatever it is they want to hear instead of actually waiting for facts. "Contrary to news reports, Gibson was not ordered to 'stand down' by higher command authorities in response to his understandable desire to lead a group of three other special forces soldiers to Benghazi," the Republican-led committee said in a summary of its classified briefing with military officials, including Gibson.
