? Seriously? Considering how few console exclusives there are likely to be, if the PS4 has **** games then the XB1 will have **** games too. Unless you're actually dumb enough to think that every XB1 exclusive is amazing and every PS4 exclusive sucks. It's never that black-and-white.
I remember when Salvy pretended that he wasn't a Xbox fanboy before but now since the Xbox is getting hammered by the press/gamers everywhere he has decided to screw it and go full blown Xbot mode.
Couldn't help myself to preorder the Xbox One. Hopefully it's worth it especially for the multimedia stuff, that's what I'm looking most forward to.

I ended up owning both but only because I bought the PS3 from a friend at a crazy good price and it became our bluray player. Played a few games on it and enjoyed Metal Gear as always but only truly loved Heavy Rain. So yeah more than likely I probably won't own both again. Definitely not getting either console right away, which is why I suppose all the complaints don't bother me as much.
First place in the console wars, what does that even mean? I'm pretty sure Wii took first place. And why would you care? Does MS sales make you feel better about your purchase? Spoiler Really? I don't see one console dominating over another in exclusives in the current gen and doubt it will happen next gen. And honestly Halo is almost dead, and doesn't even compare to the current player base of CoD, which is not exclusive.
What shows this? Microsoft's history with exclusives is nothing to get too excited about. The games I saw that were exclusive to Xbox were cool...neat games...but none of them had that "MUST BUY!" feeling for me. The best games are usually multi-platform now...or Naughty Dog games. Hey if Naughty Dog found a new publisher and sold their games multi-platform Sony wouldn't have great exclusives either. Just don't see the big advantage Xbox has with games that you seem to see. A Sci-fi FPS? Created by the team that is now making a huge Sci-fi FPS multi-platform?
To be honest, nothing Xbox is doing really bothers me enough for me to move over to PS4.... I like Forza, I like Halo, I like Gears...... There is nothing on PS for me.... Nothing.... Xbox has and always will have better first person shooters..... I can understand thou that the "cool thing" right now is to hate on Xbox but I just want to see what happens a few years in. When its all said and done. Will Ps4 owners desire the Xbox or will the Xbox truly fail and Xbox owners want to make the switch... One of these will happen...
The only 360 exclusives that I think I bought/played in 7 years were the Gears of War trilogy and the original Dead Rising (which I rented). 3 exclusives I bought in 7 years. Never played Halo. And I haven't even really bothered with GOW: Judgment yet. And on the flip side, I've really wanted to play the Uncharted games, Heavy Rain, and now the Last of Us, not to mention games like Infamous, God of War, and MLB: The Show. If I got a PS4, even though it's not backwards compatible, I could still stream those PS3 games via Gaikai if I understand things correctly, right? I'm with you in that there's not a ton of exclusives for either console. Almost all of the games I play are available on both consoles. But I would've played more PS3 exclusives in this last generation if I'd had the option.
I don't need to be famous to know what I'm talking about. Halo isn't nearly as popular as it used to be. You're ignorant if you think otherwise.
Nothing can beat the CoD juggernaut at the moment, but c'mon Halo 4 sales proved the franchise is far from dead.
RE: Exclusives Numbers say they're pretty even. 360 had few titles that tended to sell better, PS3 had more titles that didn't sell as well on average. Speaking for myself, looking at these lists: 360 games I care about: Fable 2, Dead Rising, Tales of Vesperia (not listed) PS3 games I care about: Metal Gear Solid, inFamous, Heavy Rain, Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Ratchet and Clank I also care about Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but that had no business being listed since the original X-Box version of Ninja Gaiden is compatible with the 360. It's all going to depend on what kind of games you like. Speaking for myself, I couldn't care less about Halo. I liked the very first one, but after that I was tired of it.
Lol this xbox vs ps will go all night so ima just say this... Get wht you want.... No point in fighting over a freaking console and game opinion. Get what you want. Every sngle post on this thread is just simply an opinion except for the specs of the consoles. I can sit here and say Super Nintendo is a better console because so and so.... Its stupid. I'm going to buy the Xbox because that's what I want. +100 bucks does not even bother me one bit. You love PS, get it and be happy..... I will for sure enjoy the new Halo....
