A "natural" progression? Lol. If you're okay with companies jacking up their prices every next generation, more power to you.
Addition of Kinect and Blu-ray... Come on now, they price is warranted. Personally I wish they would do away with Kinect. I don't want to pay for that crap.
Um, you can get a blu ray drive for like $50 or less. That's just an excuse to raise prices. The only reason to "justify" the pricing is the inclusion of Kinect. That doesn't make it okay, however. If you want to pay that much to have your privacy invaded go for it. I on the other hand actually think about things before handing over money for it.
It is a new version of Kinect (much better specs than 360 Kinect), so that could be pricey. But Blu-ray isn't much of a cost increase, and expected for new consoles. And to offset those costs, the actual console specs here are much weaker than previous generational leaps (also cheaper R&D costs, among other things).
Yes, but you are still getting blu-ray, kinect and a much bigger hard-drive. Manufacturing cost has not dropped that low.
Yeah I actually forgot, that's another major point. The XBONE has much weaker memory, and a weaker video card, but you're going to pay more for that just because of the Kinect.
I won't touch the xbox one, not for me. MS dropped the ball. But only a clown would argue about the price.
Yeah, I'm a clown because I realize that $500 is way too expensive for their target market. Get a clue.
Xbox = $299 Xbox360 = $399 XboxOne = $499 The inferior Wii U = $299. I'm not shocked at the price at all.

Wii U is more powerful than a 360, which they're still charging $300 for. Secondly, it includes a game (the $350 version, which is being price dropped to $300). I'm glad that you can recognize a pattern in their price increases each generation. With that logic, everyone should be okay with spending $600 on an iPhone 6 since it's the 6th generation, right?
What in the hell?! And they are destroying the used game market and monopolizing prices. ****. EDIT: Phew. Thank goodness that's not true.
This is a much bigger concern. There are games at $60 too, so I don't know why the difference is there.
