Great on paper, possible great on court as well. But not really possible, to sign 2 major FAs, 1 will have to come via sign and trade, and I just cant see the 2 LA teams take in Lin/Asik/whoever. However, if rox do get commitment from dwight, I cant see Hawks turning down a Asik + Trob for JSmoove.
look at the stats..... 36% from 3 pt land 43% from the field..... SUPERSTAR NUMBERS! oh wait? He scored from the line.....Look at his stats in April....take a look....how were his stats in the playoffs? how did he do? Im not trolling, Im saying hes not that good, he simply isnt....
Where did i say anything about Lin? If someone says something TRUE about Harden he must be a lof....ok Heres the thing.....CHRIS PAUL HAS NO INTEREST IN HOUSTON.....hes not coming...why would he? To play next to a ball dominate player like Harden who I like by the way..... If he wasnt so dam ISO he would really be good....
great players dont have aprils like hardens.... Hes a really good player....lots of guys better than him... and he most certainly was houstons mvp...look at the stats....didnt shoot well...just took a ton of shots...
J Sizzle is right. One month doesn't count for anything. I mean look at Lin's stats in April 17/7 shooting 44%/37% - you'd think he was the best player on the team. Just like that month in February when he played for NY, you'd think his ceiling would be a Hall of Famer. Reality is Lin was only the 3rd best player on this team. And his ceiling is a good bench player at best.Lin is just a flash in the pan. Beverley showed in 5 games as a starter he has a higher ceiling than Lin. So one month's stats mean NOTHING.
Don't feed the troll. This guy is probably some pissed off OKC fan, bitter that they traded him. His join date coincides with the month that "ruined" Harden's season. Let his rants of insecurity fall on deaf ears.
lawl at anyone who thinks Harden isn't "that good"...if you want to debate whether he's a superstar or not, sure, I Don't think he's there yet. I think there are a lot of things he can still work on, and there are a lot of things he needs to improve. He could even pull a TMac and just nosedive to crap. But he probably won't /knock on wood But judging a 23 yr old Harden for not being a SUPER superstar is like saying Kyrie Irving is "not that good" -- uh, context? Harden is a top 3 SG in the league RIGHT now. I don't think that is even debatable. In a few yrs, he will probably be top 1, once Kobe retires and Wade continues to crash in age. How someone can say a top 3 SG is not that good is beyond me. Look at his win shares, look at his TS%. Guy collects and makes FTs like a magnet. Is his defense non-existent? Yes. Does he try to go for the foul too often (instead of just finishing the shot?) Yes. Does he hero ball too much in clutch moments? Yes. But in spite of this, Harden is amazing and that is why SO many players want to come to HTown to join him now.
If we can land both it looks like we will be fighting Miami for vets and minimum salary guys. I think Miami might have the edge just because of lebron. Honestly I think we should go for Dwight and keep above avg or fringe all stars. Making a team soo heavy on salary at a few s
