T-Mac was +5 when he was on the court. Superstar player.

Perfect game wasted from Danny Green.

All those TOs by the Spurs (which, like some said, may or may not be fouls) really killed them.

Miami at their best is just scary and LeBron had an "off" night! I'm calling it now, they're taking 2 games in SA.

The people who say the Spurs are boring are the people who have been saying it for ten to fifteen years and just haven't noticed that it hasn't been true for a while now. They weren't nearly this entertaining a decade ago.

I really dislike the Heat, really, really dislike them. They are a "bought" artificial, fabricated, made for T.V. team. The Spurs were "built," and in my view, embody the best qualities of the sport.

Now, as tonights game, who in the world was Manu passing to? He was throwing balls everywhere. The Spurs were making Pacer-like turnovers, really stupid. That one Heat run blew the game open and it was over from there. I really though James looked disinterested in the first half, hard to figure. The big three for SA had sub par games and it was still close most of the way. I don't know, it is going to be a dog fight every game.

That was 2007. They crushed the Suns in 2005. And beat the defending champs.

The only two players that played good for S.A were Danny Green and Kiwi. This
was the worst game S.A has played in the playoffs.

I only stood up once, but I made an "ooh that's nasty" face, & acted like I was falling down laughing so hard while clumsily clawing around me, hoping someone would hold me up. But no one did.

    :(

He took the "unstoppable force meets an immovable object" too literally...and realized that James was both things at the same time on this play...man...Im really rooting for the Spurs to win(and they did their job) but you have to recognize great plays...
    1. TP's ridiculous jumper
    2. LBJ's forward momentum stopping block...(any physics majors and engineering folks should really love that...That block stopped forward progression of Tiago's hand...In order to completely displace forward momentum is just sick..)

    3. What is game 3 gonna bring...

    PS.
Some quick thoughts on the game:
    1. The Lebron used as a screener and then letting him attack off the elbow has completely tied the Spurs into a knot...and totally prevents the early rotation to Heat shooters...While I am sure that the Spurs will counter, this has turned into an excellent play
    2. This is the second game in a row, that Lebron seemingly has been not the scoring threat, but playing like Magic...maybe thats what the Heat need him to do this series, but who knows...time will tell
    3. Wade started it off, and then Bosh carried them thru the middle, with an excellent effort by Mario...
    4. Heat shooters are finding their range...They have two deadly long range bombers to the spurs 1 in Danny Green.
    5. That Defense...(yes there were some questionable no calls on kick balls that just turned into Heat points, but the Heat were the aggressors, and deserved to win this game..plain and simple)

    In regards to the Spurs:
    1. They have to be thrilled about how close the game was throughout much of the 1st half, and early part of the 3rd quarter...But really poor bench play cost them...perhaps Gary Neal has to be more of a facilitator...
    2. Duncan, Parker and Ginobili had a terrible game...I look for them to bounce back
    3. Torrid shooting by Danny Green...expect him to cool off?? I hope not...but could happen...
    4. Whats going on with Ginobli...he is playing worse than Bosh these playoffs...has had a few moments...but has been a total engima...
    5. They really need to address the issue in the post production once, TD goes to the bench...they have to seriously attack them in the post with Splitter...or use Blair
    6. Perhaps if Ginobli continues his struggles, it may be time to have others set him up as a shooting SF as opposed to looking to make plays...and have a 2 PG lineup...with TP and Gary Neal, with Ginobli, Leonard and Duncan...
    7. They wasted yet another opp to steal another game with Lebron not having MJ like numbers...sooner than later, Lebron is gonna explode...and few teams if any recover from the aftermath...
    8. Game three while it is on the Spurs homecourt is very fast...in 2 days...I dont know if it favors the older Spurs...

Dream would never have had a game like Duncan had tonight in the NBA Finals.

It was offset by Mario Chalmers giving his team probably the only good game he's going to have this series just like he did in the Finals last year. That's unfortunate for SA, because there are going to be games where Green and Neal are going to be invisible.

That's the dangerous thing about Miami is that they can strike with so much intensity on both ends in an instant at almost any time, and when their role players play with confidence, that's all she wrote.

Oh, that year. But the best team was not the Suns, but the defending champion Pistons.

I guess you don't remember that going 7 games with the Horry shot in Game 5, then Rasheed gets a nagging injury for Game 6 and 7 reducing him to limited minutes.

Beat I'll give you that one. Just not any of the others.

Sigh. Another dumb ass post. So you don't want Dwight Howard or Chris Paul or Josh Smith or any other free agents? You just want Jeremy Lin to become Tony Parker?

    This is not entirely true.
James bonded with Wade, Melo and the Class of 2003 through the Olympic Games, Pre Draft and Post Draft day.

Riley just had the means and guts to do it. Those players are called SuperFriends for a reason. They and their family really hang out with each other, they are peers.

I saw your post. Cheers. You are right about 2005.

Yes, I do hate San Antonio. More than Dallas. And it isn't about the players. It is about Texas and basketball in general...and their stupid fans.
