you forget this forum has a strong anti-heat/pro-spurs bias. it's been bad calls and no calls both ways but people here will only focus on the calls that affect the spurs.
I think the game has been called fairly even though the heat are getting away with physical play. The Heat are just flat out - outplaying the spurs right now...the puzzling thing is that they are only up 5.....
spurs have more turnovers in 1st half than they had all of last game correct? bodes well for san antonio that they're only down 5. they take care of the ball...can steal another one in miami
That's fine, but jeez. Have some objectivity. It's been a great Finals so far. Both teams are evenly matched, and both are attacking one another. Only disappointment is Lebron. He's been a no-show.
He always plays the facilitator, tonight he just seems too tentative. If that is his game plan then the heat have no chance. Wade has been GOOD but he has stamina issues and will disappear in the 4th. The spurs will do exactly what they've been doing all year long, just step it up in the 4th and execute better. Its kind of like a blitz everyone knows is coming but still surprises the defense. For them to win they need a really big mismatch a position aka lebron dicing through the D and then facilitating with the openings.
The Heat were playing their best ball this time last year but this year it seems like they peaked too early with that 33 game win streak.
Jalen Rose hit the nail on the head: "One team was bought, one team was built". That's what I want for my Rockets
Lebron hate is too much but I have to wonder what he is thinking. He knows what its going to take for the heat to win and he has to step up..yet he's playing so tentative.
Jalen said something worthwhile? LOL Looks like having the IQ of a watermelon is enough to be on ESPN sometimes.
My only logical reasoning is they're stacking the paint so much on him and leaving the perimeter so open and his players are taking advantage. And he's content. Lebron playing content isn't going to get it done for his team.
I think part of the problem is that the Heat aren't used to playing so well and not having a big lead. It seems to be bothering Lebron
I called it last game (didn't expect the translation to the finals to be that accurate though) but if the Heat are up by even 6 or 7 with 5 minutes to go, the Spurs will likely close out. Lebron is the biggest mismatch in the league, KEEPT THE SPURS ON THEIR TOES!!
Magic, Jalen and Simmons the worst tv halftime crew ever assembled TNT even with a terrible Shaq is miles better than these clowns
Spurs look slow to boards, lazy on loose balls, clumsy compared to wade, james, anderson especially somehow.
