T-Mac's response was simply his way of pointing out that the reporter's question was silly.

Just off. He's one of the worst, but I don't hold it against them too much. Imagine how hard it would be to constantly have to talk to reporters without saying something stupid.

But pop better lock him in an equipment closet or something until this is over, before he tells a reporter something like "it feels good to win a ring" again.

I've heard a similar version since I was real young.

"Is a pig's ass pork?" is the way I always heard it.

It's just a smart ass way of saying "of course"

It sounded like that little Asian guy that always asked dumb questions to Rocket players. You could be referring to the same guy, not sure.

Seems semi-similar like the "lipstick on a pig" comment about Sarah Palin way back. How it got taken out of context like its calling HER a no-good pig with lipstick. But its a common enough saying lots of people know about and not used in that way. (Though its still smart-ass in TONE, both the instances)

 

Ridiculous question. Great answer. This is now my new go-to phrase when asked a stupid question.

 

Could have gone with 'does a bear **** in the woods?' but it's still a little vulgar.

Could have done 'Does the Pope wear a funny hat?' but then everyone will say that Catholics should be offended.
