Had 3 seasons off. Sources say he cept rehabing, practising and now look just perfectly to come back. Spoiler He is a great fit for backup center, great defender. Also he's big lotery and bust, atleast 99.99% of people say that. Celtics and Heat have some interest to sign him, do we have if Dwight is not coming? I guess it's <2M$/year. We owe 2M$ to Greg because that injury happened against our team LMAO, also signing him we still have cap space to sign max player and we have no problems at center position because of Asik. Just asking, no9 hate please.
Great idea. If he checks out physically and we can get him for under $1m vet. min. He could be a great back up for Asik and Howard.
This happens the day after mentioning i'd rather take a cheap risk in Oden to an expensive risk in Bynum....lol But if he could actually give 15 mins a game, i could see him being a backup to either Dwight or Asik, and making it so we can trade Asik if we get Dwight.
What is it with you guys wanting players that don't have a body capable of playing a season in the NBA??
What about Iverson to play a few minutes each game as a stretch 5? Also, I reckon there'll be at least 3 more Greg Oden threads in the GARM this offseason.
Maybe because when he's healthy - he's one of the best centers in the league? And maybe because he's only 25? Or maybe because his salary is under 2M$ next couple of seasons?
Imagine the word - No - except make the letters the size of a ten story building. Then use the same word for Bynum.
Several teams may be interested in Oden. And it's a lot of teams out there that need centers. I highly doubt he would come to Houston to sit behind Asik or Howard when he could practically start for Miami.
If the rockets go after a backup center, I'd rather have guy like Samuel Dalembert. He only played 16 minutes a game last year in Milwaukee, so there is a good chance he will be cheap.
The short time Oden played he was good. He may go back to Portland seeing how they've already paid him for services they haven't received.
