Lately it's been really annoying with people using their cell phones during the movie for texting. The last movie I went to, this group of young white girls would not shut the f**k up and would constantly check their phones. That junk was killing me. I'm really getting turned off to going to the theater.
I know what you are talking about. I go to movies early Saturday mornings to avoid crowds and people do crap like that in massive halls all the time.
last night's midnight showing of The Purge at AMC First Colony was effing horrible plenty of times where people where "shhhh" everybody else, at one point, some dumbass in the row in front of us said "want to go outside and fight?" seriously? just effing stupid and of course there was one point of the movie that some had to say "THATS MY ****A" at the top of his lungs at a pretty important scene to pay attention to.... it got so bad that the crew I go to midnight movies with are thinking of watching movies a week after they are released usually not this bad for movies outside of horror movies, didn't have any issue with the first month of summer movies, but its random I suppose....
Yeah like Dave2000 said, this incident happens at random.. Sometimes you go in a movie and you get the perfect experience while others it becomes a nightmare and that's to be expected when a movie theater is open to the public.. If you want your experience at the movies to be pleasant maybe they should do a movie theater membership where you have to sign up for a membership in order to watch a movie, I don't know?
So I just had the WORSE experience. These stupid yukoslovakias/russians/hitler sat RIGHT next to me when the whole row is basically empty. I even had my purse in the next seat but they came at me and asked ARE THESE SEATS TAKEN? My gf was like wtf and just gave them a stank eye. nightmare scenario and I told them yes but there kids just sat down. During the whole movie they were talking and whispering and at one point Yelling in Russian. The worse part is that they smell like ketchup and every serious /intense scene they always make a HUGE SIGH that the whole theater can hear. I hate people.
Some douchebag couple decided to bring their ****ing 5 year old to see Man of Steel. The kid started yelling and crying in the middle of the movie. Some people should not be allowed to have an offspring. I hope to one day become a director and make a Spiderman movie and put loads of sex and orgies... then couple that with extreme violence and death. I'd also have the trailer be dark as hell. Then bribe the FCC (or whoever is responsible) to make it PG-13. That way if parents can't take the hint from a trailer, they'd subject their kids to some bad movie experience.
What the heck does this have to do with the skin color? Is a certain skin color weighs more than others? Disgusting.Just disgusting.

Sorry for my english but I'm from Yugoslavia (yes it is still a country), but my village did not have movies only ketchup factory. So when me and my family came to America I wanted to watch the movies. It was weird when I went there was a guy with a man purse... And he kept sniffing loudly during the movie, also the air was stuffy with American decadence which made breathing hard... Long live Vlade and Yugoslavia.
I wouldn't call it disgusting, more like an observation, experiences because that's what going to the movies is all about? You can start making a thread entitled, White people and their entitlement? or Asian people and Kung Fu?
Went to an early showing of this is the end the other day. Only about 9 other people were there, I forgot how nice it was to watch a movie peacefully.
I don't understand how that is just a realization. Especially when one realizes that it's during the early run of the movie/once it has just come out that A. The theater will be packed B. There'll prolly be some "Movie theater black folx" that refuse to act right during a movie.
