Do u guys realize that miami outrebounded the spurs by 9 and made the spurs shoot 41% from the field yet the spurs won. That would not be the norm for the series. Thats kinda scary. Also the 4 to night for the spurs would not be the norm. Lebron scoring only 18 points ( on 16 fga) is his lowest scoring playoff game since 2011. I think the spurs did a great job making it hard for him to drive.
The IRON WAS UNKIND to several Spurs they had some NICE open looks that they just clanked Rocket River
anyone else annoyed that simmons pretty much thought it was a foregone conclusion at halftime that miami would win. SA was down by like 4 and this simmons guy was in full miami blow job mode.
It's a terrible halftime show. San Antonio down 3 at halftime and they're all freaking out that San Antonio are playing all wrong and have no shot. Spurs win by 4 and now the Heat are screwed. UGH

But, he's still family. Sure, you'd like to beat him at something, but you can't have strangers running your family down.
Definitely...but I just think that the Spurs are playing better late game basketball...They did this throughout the GSW and Memphis series...They are executing perfectly down the stretch... Forcing a Miami Heat team to commit four crucial TO in the fourth was why the Spurs won..The Lucky shot helped...but the Spurs went to Championship D down the stretch... And what should be scary for lot of Heat fans: 1. The main man had a monstrous triple double and lost...and played almost 42 minutes of the game 2. Wade had a solid shooting game 3. Bosh had a wide open jumpshot and missed(couldve brought the heat to 1) 4. The Miami Bench scored 30 points 5. The Spurs shot only 41 percent, and missed lots of open shots... 6. Ginobli had an off game 7. Ray Allen and Miller were on fire in the first half and M.I.A. in the second half 8. The Spurs will love if Bosh keeps taking long distance jumpers as opposed to playing in the post 9. Still cant stop Tony Parker... The Heat have a lot of problems that they quickly have to resolve by game 2, bc the Spurs just keep getting more efficient during the course of the series...just ask Memphis, GSW, and the Lakers... The Heat need to start pressuring the Spurs offensive sets much earlier that means Chalmers and Cole have to really pressure TP 90 feet, and then let Wade weakside pressure once he gets to the front court and let Lebron attack passing lanes...Secondly they really need players like Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard to be the focal point of the offense... All of this is easier said than done...hence why i strongly believe in the Spurs to be able to win this series...So far deadly precision offense has won out against tremendous defense(The Spurs rotations, and passes were often cross court and on the money...Miami played very good defense, but the Spurs just made the passes that the Heat dared them to make...)
I think I may want to reconsider my original prediction of the Spurs in 6. Spurs didn't play a great game last night and still won. Bosh and Wade are both struggling...still. Spurs in 5.
The Spurs will definitely go all out in game two to land the "knock out" punch. Game two will be intense. It might decide the series. If SA can go up 2-0, the next three games in SA are going to be a tall mountain for the Heat to climb. The game one win was HUGE.
Simmons hates the spurs....its pretty obvious with his constant passive aggressive comments and twitter battles with spur fans.
Now that I look back its just weird....the spurs didn't even play a good game. They just played their typical game.
spurs couldve played MUCH better and still won... Kawhi missing wide open 3's, same with danny green and duncan had a rough first half.
