Spurs all the way - not because I hate the heat

but because I want Duncan to win that 5th ring so everyone can finally say he, not Kobe, is the greatest player of his generation.

Nope, a ring will probably increase his chances at making the HOF. You sound butt-hurt.

You seriously think his bench riding this year is a hall of fame factor ?
I think the tofs just want him to get one, but if you seriously think this playoff run is a factor then you might not think highly of mcgradys career

I voted for the Spurs because I'm not down with ring chasing.

That just proves how much I own you.
You favor a team because a random guy on the Internet tells you all the time the not so good facts about your favorite player.

    So damn easy.

    99ers rule all

Well some argue that his career is already HOF worthy, so yes, it may be a factor, albeit a small factor.

You should listen to what Charles Barkley said regarding bench riding to get a ring.

You know why they hate this statement ? It's True, at this point in his career, he's on the 3rd tier squad of the spurs with patty mills.

He's the guy that came to china as a starter and ended up playing on the bench.. In china.

But hey his fans refuse to believe its almost over, we all know his legacy . This last year won't change what he did in the past.

As much as I'd like Miami due to Lebron, I like Spurs as a team more and hopes the Rockets will be come the new Spurs. We need our own TWIN TOWERS!

How many points has he scored his playoff run?
How many has patty mills scored?

    I present you the facts.

I wouldn't look at his last years for hof consideration .

I generally root for the underdogs, so go Spurs! I honestly think the Spurs have better team chemistry than the Heat do. Plus you have Wade playing through a knee bruise or something. It's too bad Ray Allen isn't half a decade younger, he would be much more valuable IMO than Wade is.

I don't so much root for the Spurs as I do against Miami. The Spurs I feel indifferent about. Probably because we've never played them with their current core, and Hakeem kicked DRob's ass. So I don't hate them in any way.

I would probably also feel indifferent about Miami if Lebron wasn't such douchebag about teaming up. The whole celebration before they played a single game, proclaiming "not one, not two..." etc. etc. etc. But after that whole ordeal, I just can't bring myself to like them.

But in overall give-a-damn scale, I would put the finals at 2/10.

Spurs all the way. I have always liked TP, AJ, T-Mac.

You've got some unusual taste/allegiance it seems.

First of all, I hate Wade and Bosh. I want Miami to be champion because many people will always compare Lebron and Kobe by number of the rings they have, not by their dominating force.

    Tony Parker is awesome.
The only people this year that stopped him were Drake and Chris Brown.

Here's an actual reason to root for the Spurs that I didn't mention before:

This could be the last games played for Duncan and Pop, 2 of the best to ever do what they've done. If for no other reason, I will watch every Finals game so that I can be reminded again of the difference between an All Star type player (Bosh) and an all-time great.

Seeing a 37 year old Duncan just dominate every Miami big man is fun to watch.

May the Spurs win and may Duncan and Pop retire and move to Boerne, TX, to never be heard from again.
