Who the frick cares about who the best team in Texas is. Rocket Fans should only care who the best team in the NBA is. In that case Miami is just as much of a threat to us as the Spurs..

    Fan logic

very happy for Spurs win. But gotta admit that parker traveled on that last shot. His pivot was left and he made one more step with right foot before releasing the ball. Imagine the comments if Lebron had did it :D

Enjoy the large group of 'Spurs' fans that will continue to show up at Toyota Center games then.

That isn't 'Fan logic' that's just logic.

Do you think McNair roots for the Cowboys? Hell no. He knows the more the Texans win the more his can convert other texans outside of Houston into Texan fans.

Yeah the Cowboys history will be hard to catch up on, but that doesn't mean you ever root for it.

I think the hate for the Heat stems more from the hate for the bandwagon Heat fans, and not the team itself.

If the Rockets had 3 legit NBA players with the star / superstar status, I'm sure no one would care what means (unless illegal) the FO used to get said stars.

seriously. the heat are not division, conference, and in-state rivals like the spurs.

there is no rivalry with the heat and the rockets at all, not even historical.

there isn't even and consistent interaction with heat fans unlike spurs fans.

You two are just hugging each other's nuts. Get off it. The Spurs play solid, fundamental basketball, and win without relying on superior talent. They play basketball the way it's meant to be played.

Who cares if they happen to be near the same geographical location as the Rockets? You gotta give credit where credit is due instead of being bitter ****s.

I think we'd get a lot of bandwagon fans too and then haters. I just can't hate on a team because they assembled 3 superstars...because every fan wants their team to do the exact same thing.

I don't understand it either. This city is the only city where the fans root for the other in-state teams.

Other fans usually HATE the other in-state teams.

    What?

Who said anything about the Spurs not being a great basketball team? Who took any credit away from how they play or how great of a team they are?

there's not even really a spurs/rockets rivalry besides that one series with hakeem and robinson, even if we are in the same division. that's the only playoff series I remember with the spurs

Nobody can keep up with Lebron...he had 17 rebounds too...But he played like Magic out there...but for them to win...he has to be Jordan...just plain and simple...

Kawhi did play well...but I dont know what well is if the guy ur defending just dropped a monster triple double against you...
