Can I drop MKG for Tyson? .. I kinda sense you were going to do this right exactly before the matchups... 1 minute apart from your previous post. ...sigh
I think I can take thing. I'd put green on curry, Leonard on Westbrook, and magic on Gallo. Post up any guard on magic. Biggest worry is dream.
but that's a conference thing and a 50 mil cap thing, it's not about a trade being unfair. if you don't like the structure of the draft, you need to voice it in advance. we've been discussing this conference thing since the last normal All-NBA draft. so like for three weeks if not a month. Kobe-Hibbert is a fair trade, considering one player is clearly better and the other much cheaper. if Kobe was in the East, he probably drops there as well. he just happens to be in the West. Kobe is a top 10 player in the league, or so. it's crazy that he dropped but it is what it is. doesn't make him a scrub.
JMCBaller Jamers jvu horry33 Donatas RR14 RedNation Really tough votes. Will elaborate if I have time. Certainly will for later rounds. Sorry
The whole amnestying chandler 1 min before matchups is a shady GM move brah. Just admit we're finding ways for me to not pick up an amnesty'd player. I've been waiting patiently for 3 days for you to amnesty a player for me to pick up. Donna... You are one shady GM. ....Oelman come play 2k i just got out of class
East Jmc. Spooner has a clearly better bench. Jmc has better backcourt and frontcourt. Jmc has solid defensive answers vs. all Spooner's players. But it's pretty much impossible to hide Kyrie in this matchup. Jmc's defensive weakness is at center, Moses was a good man defender but pretty average in terms of team defense, positioning, rim protection. But vs. Russell, that's not a huge problem. Kyrie and Jeff Green will get some extra opportunities at the rim (compared to Jmc having to score over Russell), but that's about it. Jmc will have advantage on the boards, and he has a ton of shooters / scorers on the perimeter to put those extra possessions to good use. Spooner's bench will keep games close but in the end i think Jmc wins. Jamers. very even. Jamers can lock up most big teams and protect the rim. but torque's scoring comes from his perimeter guys. i think torque has the better backcourt + Josh Smith should do a good job defending Horford, who's Jamers' only legit scoring threat among big men. In the end, to me it comes down to who can defend Jordan. Oscar wasn't a great defender, Kobe is a poor defender even though I think he'd do a better than usual job here out of pride. But overall, I think Jordan will be able to have an awesome series + he'll defend one of torque's guys very well. Still, this is 50/50 Yung-T. I think he just has more talent. Rondo didn't have a great year, he was chasing stats. Brook Lopez had a great year. Overall, I think Yung-T has a considerably better perimeter, and big men combos are close overall. My issue with Yung-T's lineup is spacing. But he has solid shooters on the bench, so it should take some pressue off. Horry. I'd probably start Shumpert because neither Kidd nor Wright are optimal defenders for Conley. But overall, i think he has a bit more talent and I think the team is well built. He will have a very powerful, versatile offense and he has several great defenders as well. Still, Maloe's defense is better overall and will keep this close. West VBG. I really want to vote for oelman here... but can't. Between Malone and ZBO, VBG's bigs will have their hands full. But his backcourt is just so much superior. Harden can't defend West, and West can defend Harden, and Tony Parker wins the matchup too. Don't love spacing for VBG though, Gasol/Millsap are well shooting bigs, West is great, but other than West there are no reliable outside shooters so I think Vince should probably start over AK here. RR14. 50/50. Hakeem schools Dwight. Ibaka will have issues defending Dirk and will be drawn out up to the 3pt line. Not sure who can successfully defend Magic here. I think Danny/Kawhi defend Curry/Westbrook and will do a decent job. thething has more depth/bench. In the end, I think these are two of the best teams. I'm going with Magic, i don't think he's defended well here, and I think he'll make sure that offense will run smoothly. Westbrook chucks some shots, Hakeem tends to stop the ball at times, and while they'll both be awesome, they still have solid defenders on them. Anyway, it can go either way, both teams are great. RedNation. I think just more talent. coachbadlee built a very nice team though, well spaced, well balanced, a dominant inside presence, should work very well offensively and there are several solid defensive guys too. i think he just has less talent than RedNation.
my argument against oelman is defense. His two weakest defenders are in the backcourt where I have two amazing offensive players. Putting Parsons on West/Parker would be tough because AK47 is quite big for a SF and great off the ball. Harden's off the ball defense is horrible. His bench is awesome though. Can't argue that.
lol. why would i want you to pick him up. of course i'll amnesty him at the last possible minute. i said it to you very clearly like 3 days ago. i'm going to wait till the end. also, you act like you have some right to get him. we added the amnesty rule to make sure people don't get disqualified. not to enable someone to add major talent. we probably should add some restrictions as far as salary of amnesty pick ups. but there are no rights. if you manage to get someone, good for you, otherwise, that's not what amnesty is about. as for being a "GM", that just means a ****load of wasted time, it's not fun at all, the problem is that outside of Rednation and LCAhmed i haven't seen anyone do it well and those guys are also bored of doing it. would gladly not do it either.
