I am sick of the "stolen ring". He doesn't have a ring, PERIOD... we don't live in a revisionist world. He also coaches far better players than you think.

He is a good coach, but not a great coach.

 

I think its DEFINITELY some Denver altitude factoring in. (And REEKO is right, George Karl's playoff record there isnt good. Though its not like the Rockets can boast about playoff advancement)

Though Karl has been very good for quite a while. People forget his Milwaukee BUCKS team was 1 game from the FINALS in '01. (Yeah its the "East" but still)

Count me in for not wanting ANY part of him going to the Clippers. If the Clippers arent already Payton/Kemp-like with Paul/Griffin already, it could be some 90's Sonics all over again.

 

That doesn't really make too much sense in reality.

Elite.

 

Yes....

His offensive sets are extremely creative and well thought out, very well masked. Defensively they play very hard.

His first year with LeBron was mediocre, but he and his staff have greatly improved in the last 18 months. They really know what they are doing.

I wonder if this is an indication they'll be tearing down the roster too. Are there Nuggets we should be interested in trading for?

 

In the past decade he's only made the Eastern Conference finals once. And that was WITH Melo. As well as his dream team of team players after Melo left. No thanks.

 

Outside of Faried and Wilson Chandler, no. And they won't trade Faried.

 

I liked his coaching but you still have to listen to big brother. That nonsense cant tell me nothing adelman and karl have got them canned.

What is the definition of an elite coach

 

Obviously it means you win more than you lose and that's it. At least here.
