George Karl took an average team to the playoffs and got them to the third seed. Denver is so stupid. Fire Michale and sign George Karl, Morey!!!

and only 1 time did he past the 1st round. what's the point of going to the playoffs if you just get stuck in the 1st round.

That's crazy, this just shows most coaches of the year are not the best ones or got fortunate. George Karl to LA? ;)

Karl's a good coach, provided you want to win a lot of regular season games and bomb out in the playoffs.

Unsure, if the game to game adjustments are his and not Riley's, then yes, I'm not really sure how the dynamic works in Miami because it's somewhat unique.

Coaches don't contribute that much toward a team's wins. They're primarily responsible for minutes allocations and substitutions.

By most advanced metrics, most coaches have no appreciable impact positively or negatively on their team. Very few coaches make a meaningfully positive difference, like Gregg Popovich or Stan Van Gundy.

George Karl was one of the few that meaningfully DETRACTED from his team. He would play guys that were performing worse than others on the roster. Or make substitutions that would do worse on the floor.

Denver should see more games won with Karl leaving.

There's not even that many "overrated" coaches. Even that list is short.

Its handful of very good, another handful of good-to-overrated. Then "the pack". But seems league is going more toward "play the guys we give you" player development coaching choices which basically makes the GM and front office the coaches.

    (Bitter much? geez lol)

Oooh...I'll take that bet. Not sure how they'll do next season, but looking at Milwauke and Seattle upon Karl leaving, I would bet the Nuggets will be out of the playoffs the season after next (especially in the west).

In fact, I would not be surprised if they missed the playoffs in the tough west next season. New coach, no star player, Iguodala a free agent, new style of play. Yeah, I would bet the Nuggets will be worse next season and a borderline playoff team at best.

    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    George Karl
    Howard

We'd have a pretty strong starting five right there. Karl is a true professional, I hope he retires a Rocket.

The only elite coach that comes to my mind right away is Pop. Everyone else is either very good, mediocre, or are just plain tuurible.
