    Exactly what I did.

A prime McGrady would tilt it towards the Spurs, despite a probable all time great LBJ. Duncan is also an all time great.

    Repped for real analysis

The reason for the Spurs success is

    team chemistry
coach/players are on the same page
    no egos

I suppose you think a prime McGrady would have clashed with the rest of the Spurs and messed everything up. I don't see that at all.

The difference between someone who watches and plays basketball vs someone who looks at "legacy", stats, and wikipedia/allbasketballreference.com.

A prime TMAC was a superior player than prime Wade and also a prime Parker. Just his combination of length and athleticism alone makes him far more dangerous on the court, not to mention his more than capable ball handling/versatility/scoring/passing etc (which in my opinion is a WASH since both players can perform these skills excellently at the NBA level). In many ways, Orlando Tmac was a taller, better 2006 Wade.

I believe he would want to dominate the ball and be the star.
I don't see him as the LeBron of a big 3 or big 4.

but again, this in an imaginary what if scenario

Ray Allen was amazing in his prime with Sam Cassell. His outside shoot was butter.

Heat for sure. You got Bron and D-Wade both 30ppg scorers and 6rpg+ 6apg+ each. You got bosh 24ppg 11rpg. You got Ray Allen a 25/5/5 guy and top 2 if not the best shooters of all time. You got Juwon Howard a 20/8 guy. Rashard a 20/6 guy. Mike Miller and Shane Battier ultimate role players.

To the guy who said T-Macs playoff numbers dropped significantly. Where is the proof? I could have sworn his numbers went up. He has beast playoff avg's if i remember correctly.

    But, Miami still wins.

If everyone is in their prime. Pat Riley would take over as coach over Spoelstra :)

This right here, I am shocked at how many people are discounting TP, dude is ridiculous. I'd have him at number 5 behind LBJ, TD, Tmac and Wade.

Someone mentioned Juwan Howard giving this team 20/8. If Juwan had that many touches and had a big role like that, the Heat would definitely lose. Juwan is a blackhole.

It's not saying they are going to put the same stats. It's to show what all the players in their prime were capable of.

Are you sure about that? Ray never had a PER over 23 and TP has done that twice. TP also has a higher career PER. TP has a higher career fg% and averaged way more assists than Allen. TP's scoring numbers are also very close to Allen's and TP has never been in a position where he was taking 18-20 shots a game like Allen was in Seattle. The only thing Allen dominates TP in is 3pt shooting.

you all forgot about Popovich. with Pop, scrubs can become solid players, solid players can become stars, and stars can become superstars

so I would give the edge to Spurs
