There are plenty that still haven't received any word whatsoever. A group of them just filed a lawsuit. What are you talking about? And even if they had all received their status AFTER an election, it would still be a scandal if the IRS was trying to prevent groups from being able to have an influence on a election.
I still don't understand how Obama tolerates his employees not complying with investigations. Why does he allow IRS employees to refuse to say where they got the list targeting conservatives from? He should fire them on the spot if they don't cooperate with the investigation. He should fire Lerner on the spot for taking the 5th (don't put her on paid leave). Obama is doing all he can to hide the truth.
http://www.c-span.org/ If you would like to watch the testimony of the Conservative groups. Democrats offered no witnesses.

The point is that they haven't been denied and don't even actually need to apply. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alan-b-morrison/irs-501c4-scandal_b_3353468.html I'm talking about how miniscule this whole "scandal" is.

oddly, OFA sailed through the process: <iframe src="http://content.bitsontherun.com/players/EaxnQm0N-dh3Zgtip.html" width="640" height="480" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto"></iframe>
So far we know that no conservative groups have been denied anything, and didn't actually even need to apply. We know that some liberal groups have been denied the status they applied for. And we know that there is no evidence that anyone from the white house had anything to do with any of it. I'm still waiting for the scandal part.
1) They were effectively denied by never being approved, while groups like OFA were. They were discriminated against based on political beliefs. 2) Donor lists were leaked to media outlets (Pro Publica, Human Rights Watch) 3) Inappropriate privacy violating questions were asked, and only of conservative groups (tell us the contents of your prayers).
While I agree that we have nothing tying this to the wh, despite the hopes of most conservatives, I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't be shouting from the rooftops if this happened during the W admin and dems were on the receiving end. I hope the wh knew nothing. Regardless, this is kind of a big deal (like Ron burgundy)
