I am not a City fan but I don't really dislike them, either (other than Aguero...good player but he seems punchable to me). Navas just has a history of being homesick and previously did not want to play in England.
Chelsea fan? Well maybe he wasn't ready back then, or didn't want to play for Chelsea if I remember correctly. Regardless, he isn't getting younger so his window was getting getting smaller. I wish him best of luck.
From his Wikipedia page: He suffers from chronic homesickness, to the extent he walked out of training camps within Spain because they were too far away from Seville. He also suffers from anxiety attacks and seizures. Navas initially refused to travel with Sevilla during pre-season to the United States due to his acute homesickness, later deciding that he would travel in a bid to rid himself of this condition. #AnxietyTrooper It's not about Chelsea, it's about not wanting to play pretty much everywhere in the world except Sevilla. He goes to therapy and it's been working for the past few years. I very much wonder how will he settle in London.
Damn, I know you can't trust American companies for a non-American sport. Spoiler What in that faaark is this shiiiz???!!
It's by Warrior. I think owned by Fenway Sports Group, the same group who owns the Red Sox and Liverpool. It seems now that having John Henry purchasing Liverpool was a baaaad idea. He has no money to spend on players and he lets the Warrior pull this schitte on the kits. The away kits were bad enough last season, but I could have never imagined it being this bad. This is what you get when a dude who knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about football (he admitted it) purchase a team. It doesn't help that he cares only about profiting and much less about getting the team into top 4 contention.
*barf* WTF, are they doing the triathlon?!?! Ugliest Uniforms in Soccer History Surprise at #11! BONUS: hottest Mexican Soccer fans
I think it's a way for Liverpool to say "hey **** you, ok? don't buy our kits!" to its fans worldwide.
#1 is just amazing... Even for the 1970's, that has to be, by far, the worst jersey in the history of sport. I completely disagree with #9. Back in the early 90's, I was given the opportunity to choose the kits for the U-16 team I played on. That was the choice and everyone loved them. I still have the jersey, in fact...though it does not even come close to fitting any more.
If that's the case well props to him for facing his "fears." I'm assuming his new team knows well about his condition and should have a plan of action. In any case, thanks for the info didn't really know about the seriousness of it.
City wrapped up the deal for Fernandinho for £30m. Not surprised, will be interested to see how he pans out in England. He had a blinder against an off form Chelsea team earlier this season if I remembered correctly. Navas and Pellegrini deal are almost complete, dunno about Navas but I think Pellegrini will help them out. Fellaini's release clause got activated not by United but by Arsenal. They're getting some steel in their midfield (finally), think this is a good signing for them even though I still think Fellaini is overrated. Can Arsenal take advantage of the managerial changes in their fellow champions league rivals? Also Everton related, Roberto Martinez becomes their new manager. He gets a good chance to prove what kind of manager he is but CL expectations might be a little bit too much. Wouldn't be surprised if they're in the bottom half of the table next year. United supposedly close to wrapping a deal up for Guillermo Varela(?), a Uruguayan RB, for an undisclosed fee. Never heard of this guy and I really don't think we need another RB. Oh well, its early, hope there are some more players to go after. Cesc and Thiago rumours have died down now, always knew that was a long shot. Another long shot rumour that haven't gone away is Ronaldo to United. Wish that could happen but I give it like a maximum of 10% chance that happens.
