Yah that would be scary! If anyone can get him to live up to his (top 5 pick) potential its the spurs. Good be retribution for the whole Luis Scola thing.

If you listened to Internet idiots, you would assume Patrick Bargnani is a good NBA player.

Marc Spears is a moron. If anybody listened to his prognosis on the Houston Rockets, he claimed Howard was the best Power Forward hitting free agency and that the Rockets biggest hole was at Small Forward. Amazing how somebody so unknowledgable could be considered a source of any information. I'd do a much better job than him if given the opportunity. I hope you're listening Yahoo.

5th pick, traded for a 14th pick, then traded for a 20th pick

haha too funny. I can see his thought process as follows:

PG - Lin - yep heard of him. Linsanity! = Good
    SG - Harden - check
C - Asik - yep - saw a couple of Bulls games - good player
PF - This would be Howard's position (which I personally don't think Howard is a PF but that's another thread)
SF - Parsons? Who is that? 2nd round pick? Man they are hurting there...

Chicago has a $5 million TE for sending Korver to Atlanta so that might just be a possibility.

Chicago is in the luxury tax territory. Doubt they spend that kind of money on busty Robinson.

Just went to go look at their salary commitments and thought, "Wow, glad we don't have the Chicago FO because they got some meh contracts tied in for the long haul." Jeez, poor planning, but I guess there are worse teams.

They were offering all-star Carlos Boozer in return.

Hey, any interest is better than "nobody interested".

He says he's an insider. Perhaps there is discussion going on? Not that it definitely will go down.

Does Robinson owe you money or something? It's like reading The Rocket Guy writing about Daryl Morey.

I agree with the Bulls and their cap hell situation. Doesn't mean they won't look to move another contract (Taj Gibson?)

Unless the Bulls were thinking to trade us Gibson for Robinson in case the whole Dwight thing didn't work out, which would be a non-starter.

You're right, there's no way the Rockets are getting a 1st round pick in this draft......because they aren't trying to. At least it's not likely, anyway. Goes against what they're trying to do.

And why would the Rockets only get back the #49 pick for #34 pick and Robinson? The situation (getting rid of Robinson) isn't that dire. That's silly.

Famous last words...no first round pick in this draft...no first round pick in this draft.

    LOL.

I think we've already got one in the bag and we're looking for a better one.

Actually, we are looking to make sure we DON'T have one..... 1sts take up cap room, we r looking to clear cap room... T-Rob trade will be for a 2014 pick, 2 early 2nds (13 & 14), a euro stash (like Mirotic), or a premier player acquisition while attaching other contracts to it.

Does anyone think the Blazers might be interested in Asik and Robinson for Aldridge?

Not necessarily. We could potentially pull a lottery pick out of this draft and still sign Howard.
