It's really common in international soccer games. I think it's reached sports anthem status where we'll still here it 20 yrs from now.

nice prediction you made for this series, el gnomo.

Oh wait--- you didn't have the guts to make one.

Let me guess, last year your favorite NFL team was the Ravens, and the year before that, the Giants!

The Heat are too vulnerable. Wade/Bosh aren't as dominant (injuries, sure) and that is killing the Heat.

The Heat shouldn't have any issues with the Pacers at all if Wade/Bosh just play 75% of their potential. But they both have basically sucked all playoffs.

They need to step it up for the Finals. Spurs are on another level from the Pacers, who are a "pretty good" team, not great.

Go Spurs. I want Tmac to get a ring. LeBron will get plenty. He's the GOAT.

Lived in S FL until college, so Dolphins, Marlins, Heat, Gators. The teams I root for have had PLENTY of championships (other than Dolphins lol), no need for bandwagoning. But nice try, brah!

Oh yeah, I live in SF now so I somewhat follow the local teams here too... Giants, 49ers, Warriors have had decent success. Meh?

**** the Miami floppers and the ref bias that they get. From another board:

The art of the star call comes with timely calls that end streaks or comebacks. Calls are routinely called at meaningless times to even the calls out. Miami simply plays off of this, flops on every offensive play, and fouls on every defensive play. It ani't pretty and it ain't basketball, but it sure is good for merchandising sales.

Please. Don't blame officiating in this game 7. Indiana just wasn't there today, no excuses. Miami just outplayed them.

Whoever that was from another board is a damn idiot. The Pacers have themselves to blame for not winning this series. With the way Bosh and Wade played this series it shouldn't have even went 7.

Oh and the refs definitely didn't favor the Heat for the entire series or even the majority of it.

Well it was a great series. I voted Heat in 7 so where's my prize?? lol

Pacers just ran out of gas it seemed like. Just a really poor offensive showing, but they are prone to a bad game like this every once in awhile, they had a couple against New York and Atlanta.

Although I do have to say that the Pacers were a lot more likable this year then they were last year. Last year they seemed like immature punks who just wanted to start stuff, but this year they really matured and acted classy for the most part, they gained a lot of respect from me.

I guess I'll be pulling casually (very casually) for the Heat to win the Finals. Not sure if they can though. Just can't bring myself to root for a rival Texas team.

I guess the media no longer cares about players walking off the court after the series is over without greeting the other team.

    Funny how that works

What are you talking about? It's not that the refs were biases, it's the entire Miami Heat was so relentless in attacking the paint. Everybody drove into the rim, even perennial softees like Mike Miller were scrapping and clawing for the ball on every possession. The refs had no choice, they have to call a foul almost every play because LBJ and co. were getting fouled on almost every trip to the basket.

The refs weren't the reason why Miami outrebounded the Pacers 43 to 36, and they weren't the reason George was limited to 2-9 shooting. Pacers just got outplayed, plain and simple. Honestly, with LBJ leading the way they wouldn't even go 7 games if Wade and Bosh played up to 75% of their level in the regular season.

Much respect for the Pacers. They brought it against the Heat throughout the series. This will be one team to look out for in the future. I'm predicting Hibbert and George to join USA BBall in the near future as well.

Paul George got punked by LeBron today. SHUT DOWN!

All the people calling him a superstar look pretty silly now. All-Star no doubt. Would I build a team around him? Nah.

i didn't see the end of the game, i turned it off after the 3rd quarter. Did the Pacers starters walk off the court before it ended, or what happened?

Only Hibbert and West walked off, the rest shook hands. I don't blame them for walking off though, and I never do cause it's a crappy situation, but it's only a media story if LeBron does it.
