    ...that is alot of money but then again, when has Maywheater made a deal that wasn't in his favor. The dude is good in these type of negotiations, he will most likely get paid.

    I'm not too familiar with Floyd Mayweather or his popularity or his net worth but I have to think the publicity he generates from pulling stunts like this is worth some $$$ as well.

    Few bets a year where he is a relatively small dog combined with the added publicity? It certainly is better for him than playing the slots machines.:grin:

    He doesn't own a promotion company. He has total control over the promotion of his OWN fights in a partnership with Golden Boy.

    But hey, making $6m bets isn't a bad decision if you make a lot of money :rolleyes:
