Grant Hill barley looks a day different. If you'da told me just his pic was taken just a couple years ago I'da believed it.

    But physically age catches up.

Explain how the old farts "obstructed" the way of the new? And who are the new farts being "held back"?

Man, Kidd was one of the guys I watched a lot growing up- especially when he played for the Nets.

    I feel old now.

His 6M won't affect any Knicks player moves since they're way over the cap so he may opt for the Hakeem route. 6M is a lot cheese to give back to a team as rich as the Knicks.

Kidd said he wanted to spend more time beating his family.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Kidd get a cushy scouting/exec/consulting gig with the team.

Should have retired last year as a legend. Now he will be remember as (among the great stuff he achieved) the DWI guy who went scoreless in X numbers of games before all of New York called for him to hang them up.

Now the delusional Knicks fans can focus on driving Amar'e out and dreamomg of acquiring CP3.

What a great player! One of the best PGs ever. Got a ring right as his career fell off a cliff.

But he stayed on too long.

Nash is now currently the oldest player in the league on contract for next year.

I remember that Suns-Nets double overtime epic game a few years back where the two PGs were in beast mode against each other.

Well said. Was signed to backup/mentor Lin, too bad Dolan lost to Morey. Run to the ground by Woodson.

Loved watching him when I ued to line in NJ. The team ball was so fun to watch. I wish more point guard or players had his team first approach. You will be missed.

One of my favorite players of all time. Can't say he'll be missed because I stopped following him after he left the Nets, but it'll definitely be a very long time before we see anyone play like Kidd

    Oh, and by the way...
    ...that's not funny, sorry.

I'd take prime Kidd over prime Nash. Just a straight up pinpoint passer.

I really liked how he played with the Mavs(first time) Suns and Nets, he was one of my favorites players. I remember he was in the NBA Jam game (the 2nd they released).
