In my opinion, you are now past the point of no return. Watch the season finale next week. Then, read your ass off. In the nearly year hiatus before season 4, I would try to read all of the books. That's what I did after season 2.
I was thinking how they are supposed to top that with the finale. If by that being the beginning, do you mean the finale is going to be crazier or next season? If the latter, im gonna go crazy waiting for next season.
What an unbelievable episode! As much as I hate certain things about it, it was a great one. Don't know if I'll rewatch it any time soon though. I have to get caught up on the books.
I mean that it is the beginning of a lot of crazy ass **** happening. This is just the beginning of that. Just watch....and enjoy one of the greatest stories ever shown on Television.
Even though I knew it was coming, it still hit me hard. ****. How it all started gave me chills, then the first victim...damn that's one way of dealing with it..
No, probably not next week, though there will be some good stuff in the finale too. But this episode happens about 2/3 of the way through A Storm of Swords and some more MAJOR events (I won't say how many) happen before the end of that book. So even though we won't see them this season, they may not be far off once Season 4 starts.
What do you guys think of Robb's wife? I feel like from her reactions she was in on it and knew it was coming, but they killed her since she was pregnant and couldn't risk a baby Eddard Stark running around causing havoc for the Lannisters.
Before it occurred, I thought she was going to be in on it. But after it began with her being the first victim, I have major doubts about that theory.
Umm, why? The episode has aired. If someone hasn't seen it, they shouldn't be reading this thread. And everything he said is speculation.
Woohoo!!! Go Team Lannister!!! Spoiler They did a great job with this episode and did the book justice.
Man... seeing Rob go down like that really hurt, the way Catelyn died was superb... just complete silence after the death of her husband and son, crippling of another son, imprisonment of both daughters (to her knowledge), and just recent passing of her father, wow. I'm intrigued to see what the deal with the Black Fish is gonna be now, did he just happen to need to piss before everything went down?
Yeah, I don't see any reason to believe in the honeypot theory where she was planted there by the Lannisters.
