I gasped, and put my hand to my mouth. I was 80% sure it was going to happen, but I was still unprepared to deal with it lol. I think Allison is the weakest character, though. I get that she's surburban / bland, but I'm sure they can think up better storylines for her. Sarah and Beth have a great plot. Helena scenes are freaky and awesome. (Cosima? Kosima?) has a decent storyline as well. But I'm sure the writers will figure out something for Allison.
They'll be showing then entire season this Saturday if anyone wants to watch it from the start - not sure what time it begins though. I've got my DVR set to record them all since I refuse to start watching in the middle of the season.

Watched all nine episodes this 3-day weekend. LOVE this show. Surprised it took me this long to find out about it.
Just watched the finale. Among other things, garbage disposal death took a lot extra suspension of disbelief. At least there was good setup for a second season
I agree on the garbage disposal scene, for a show that has been so tightly written it seemed out of place. I get what they were trying to do showing allison's mental state, but surely they could have came up with something better. That aside it was a solid finale. Plenty of loose ends, too many maybe. But it gives them a ton of angles to work with in season 2.
Not sure I fit the targeted group (not really into sci-fi at all), but decent show, I agree. Started off pretty nicely. Very good episodes in the middle. Got a little too over the top for me at the end. Spoiler Hate that they killed off Helena. Best character by far IMO. I usually don't like TV shows bringing back people back from the dead, but I kinda hope Helena comes back in season 2. Paul's character sucked at the beginning, but became under-used as the series went on, I felt like. The gay dude annoyed me a first, but he's pretty solid. Fits in well. The soccer mom character is pretty awesome. The black cop is solid, too. The lesbian with the dreads doesn't add a whole lot for me. Don't like the doctor or the priest. Feels like a low budget cast with some of these, though it really may just be the sci-fi angle that rubs me the wrong way.
I was just surfing through the On Demand feature yesterday and saw this show. I remembered this thread so I decided to give it a shot. Wow, I am hooked. I love the premise and am looking forward to watching the rest of the season.
Tatiana Maslany actually won best actress at the critics choice awards. Curious to see if the 2 big awards shows are willing to give some love to a sci-fi show on the BBC. I usually couldn't care less about TV awards show but I find myself wanting this girl to get some recognition.
Watched the entire season over the weekend while I was out of town for work. It took me a couple episodes to really get into it but I was hooked after that. Very good show and like others have said, the episodes don't have much filler, which is nice. Hopefully season 2 continues being solid but I have a feeling/fear that it might start to get a little too over the top.
I enjoyed it but can't say I liked as most here though. I really wanted to from reading this thread. First 2-3 episodes I wasn't really hooked, midway got interesting, but I never really felt 'I can't wait to see what happens next!' Great cast though. The lead actress did an incredible job and it never took me out of the show except for maybe the housewife. It's almost hard to believe they're all the same actress even though they look the same.
Decided to start it up last night due to my dad's recommendation, and I only planned on watching 1 episode before going to bed, but I found myself watching 4 instead. This show is pretty dang interesting and addictive, and I'm kind of already loving it. Every episode seems fast paced and never drags. It's no Breaking Bad, but seems like a great show for those who've never heard of it. Also...I can already say that Tatiana Maslany was snubbed from the Emmy Nominations. She's awesome.
