And the bulls would have had less championships if they had to play Dream in the finals.

Maybe Kenny would be the reason the Rox "could" lose, but Dream's fockass would not let that happen.

He said it's not always about which team is the best but about matchups. Seattle were a bad match up for the Rockets.

Not this series. I'm confident he'd own. Plus we have Clyde now.

They did that trap on him and forced him to pass the ball. They did sweep houston in 95-96 when Houston had Clyde AND Barkley

No way anybody was beating the 94-95 Rockets. That was a glorious run that nobody was going to stop. You had the best player in the game in Olajuwon, a very hungry and desperate Drexler and the good luck charm of a young Fresh Prince.

They didn't have have Barkley. That is why they traded for Charles.

I believe that was a modified zone more than a trap.

The Rockets didn't have drexler when Seattle lost to Denver so I guess it was 93-94 Kenny was referring to. Who beat Seattle in 94-95? The Lakers or Utah maybe?

Yeah it was suspicious, but effective.

Damn. You're right. Seattle swept houston, so houston went out and got barkley. So it was 1994 when Denver beat Seattle in round 1, 1995 when Houston won with Clyde over Orlando, and then the Seattle sweep was in 1996 when Seattle faced the bulls in the finals and then 1997 was when the Rockets got Barkley and lost to Houston on the John Stockton/Karl Malone bear hug play....

Houston won game 7 by one vs phoenix. It's not "no way" anybody was beating them.

First off...he was wrong. He meant '93-'94.

Secondly...I think Mutombo might disagree about how much of a threat Seattle was...

Seattle got dumped again in first round in Drexler's ring year.

Dream dominated but Seattle was a tough matchup. IIRC, Seattle swept the Rockets in 1995
