They dont need to take a pay cut. We can offer both Howard and Paul the max if Paul comes as a S&T for Lin and Asik
I wouldn't like to give up Asik, but if we could make that deal work id say ship them off in a heartbeat.
unless you magically think they would be able to get rid of Jordan and his stupid contract then no, they would not love to have asik.
When suggesting these trades, some thought should be made as to why the other team would do it. It's really no different than reading that lakers should trade pau gasol to rockets for james harden on lakersground.
Apparently they are over in LA to bring the bandwagoners (which consists of roughly 90% of LA's fanbase) over to Houston. They know that LA Lakers is a dead team, so they might as well take what that team won't be needing.
