It's hard to really fathom how much of a douche Johnny Manziel is. The way he handles himself is just embarrassing at times.
Haters gotta hate I guess. You have football stars all over the country committing robberies, rapes, drug offenses and other awful things, yet a kid having a little fun throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game is "embarrassing?" How odd. He's a 20 year old kid who has been thrust into the spotlight in a big way overnight. You guys are blowing this way out of proportion.
What has this country come to? When kids are taking the ceremonious first pitch at a dodgers game lightly?!?!? Like it's some kind of a joke!!! HOW CAN THEY START THE GAME WITHOUT A SERIOUS FIRST PITCH?!?
Yeah, how dare he attempt to have fun with it! And that catcher, catching it behind his back like that. What a jackass!
People always allude to his being a huge douchebag behind the scenes, but everything I've seen publicly since the end of football season makes me think he is pretty awesome.
I tend to agree, seems like a total empowered douche. I do however generally loathe college age kids. They all seem to be douche bags and/or immature. They're idiots. Anyways, he can douche it out and get DUI's - whatever - as long as he can play I'll be happy. I'm here to watch him play football, that's about it.
SEC staying at eight for two more years To nobody's surprise, the SEC has decided to stick with eight conference games for 2014 and 2015, but the presidents and chancellors will then review future scheduling beginning in 2016. The translation: By 2016, the SEC will be playing nine conference games. But in the short term, what's it all mean in terms of who will play whom? The format will remain 6-1-1. Schools will play everybody in their division, one permanent cross-divisional opponent and one rotating cross-divisional opponent. Slive said the 2014 schedule would be released in a matter of weeks. The league had already approved a rotation based on a 6-1-1 format through 2026. As part of that rotation, Alabama is scheduled to face Georgia in 2014 and Florida in 2015. ______________________ (Old) A&M/Alabama will kick-off at 2:30 p.m. ______________________ A&M drops USC/Oregon
I don't watch baseball too much but what was the big deal? He kind of threw it like a QB pass to have a little fun.
Its r****ded and stupid. Whenever someone says T.U it shows their lack of immaturity and dyslexic abilities. Tbh though most people don't and its only the douchy ones. Just like the douchy ones that go to UT and act like its the greatest **** in the world because it is in Austin.
Can any current Aggies enlighten me on what's been going on nowadays with the UT TU stuff? Are we still doing the War Hymn exactly the same way?
For now. The debate still rages on whether to start using the other verse instead. I must say that I like the comments of President Loftin yesterday. He was asked if he had anymore one liners about the Longhorns. He responded that he doesn't need to. They aren't relevant to us anymore.
Well we picked up a pretty good DE yesterday (likely to end up a 4* though he is a 3* right now), and then today we picked up the #1 QB recruit in the country from Arizona. Leading the way for quite a few more 4* players across the board, and this could be shaping up to be the Aggies best recruiting haul in a long time, if not ever. When Fran was here, his failures snowballed into more failures. It's looking like Sumlin's success might be snowballing in the right direction this time.
I can't speak to the current climate in College Station but changing over 100 years of tradition is gonna take some time. Hell, many still aren't over Bonfire being taken off campus. And for those UT fans who are annoyed by the t.u. thing...understand 2 things. First, its a tradition to speak of them this way in Aggieland. Sort of a tweek to the idea that the school in Austin thinks they are THE University of Texas. Secondly, it will continue as long as you are annoyed by it. But I'm sure you know that. At the end of the day, its harmless.
