    Just remember if your daughter becomes a Dallas fan, you would have completely failed as a parent.

    As a father of a 4 yr old girl I can assure you that she will steal your heart. It's a blast, enjoy it. Also, take advantage of the nurses at the hospital and get sleep while you can

    A tremendously good story, Harrisment, with an even better outcome. Congratulations to both of you! Many would have given up, and the two of you didn't. I have a 17 year old daughter of my own, and I can tell you that it's true that daughters are devoted to their fathers. Sure, sons are terrific, and we've got one of those, as well, and are very proud of him, but when two parents are getting old and decrepit, it'll be the daughter that'll be making the most effort to see that you're OK. You lucked out in more ways than one! ;-)-

    And I love the name! You guys fans of Raymond Chandler?

    In all seriously, a very close friend of mine went through 4 or 5 years of trying to conceive and i know the hurt and frustration they endured. Congrats to you and your family!
