If you're a true insider, bless you! In case you are, if LA fires D'Antoni and Phil Jackson comes in as coach or VP or something, how likely is Dwight to change his mind?

Could the Robinson "leak" be the Rockets way of nudging the Lakers into a SnT? As in the Rockets are making the moves necessary to take Dwight for nothing, so maybe the Lakers figure might as well take a flyer on a young athletic big. Mitch calls up Daryl and says "hey, let's work a Robinson and cash for Dwight swap." So instead of traversing the limited markets for Robinson behind the scenes (unlikely to get much considering what Clutch said about the market) we do exactly what we want, clear space and get Dwight in one move.
I think it's actually better to leak information. If Morey calls up a GM and says hey what pick will you give me for TRob, that GM smells desperation and flags would go up. vs Saying we like TRob. A leak happens. Then you have people calling you. Morey can give them the not sure you want to believe everything you hear but while we're on the phone...what are you thinking? Think of it like a blind auction...a true buyer is most likely overpaying because he reqlly wants it and has no idea what others may be bidding. But the seller is getting top dollar on a must sell. This actually seems well timed...too well to be by chance.
Getting that should be relatively easy. But if not it would probably be pretty easy just to agree to fly his family in whenever they want.
Yes. If there is interest by more than one. And TRob has value; shame he'll be tossed away 'on the come'.
Judging off what Morey has done in the past, no one will ever care that we lost him. It will be some player 2 years down the road that excels for our team and we forgot how we even got him. That being said, I wish nothing but luck to Robinson as he seems like a guy who wants success so bad and has not been able to quite get it yet in the NBA.
Probably a low first rounder / 2nd rounder. Don't hear much about Thomas Robinson, but maybe he has some work ethic issues that make teams so willing to trade him.
NO. He's a good worker. He's just dense. Just not a bright kid. But he's got a lot of heart, hustle, and drive.
I think the fact that Robinson couldn't even get consistent playing time on a crappy Kings team is the big reason people have doubt about his future success. Then he came to Houston where he had a great shot at winning the starting gig and once again he failed to do it. Could be another T-Will case- tons of talent but never really can put it all together to succeed at this level.
