It's funny how everyone's taste is different. I think BW3 is the best and I've been to Wingstop and many sports bars around town. Hooters is the worst imo. I never get the standard medium, hot, wild, and blazin at BW3 however. Their other flavors are where it's at.
I think BW3 is fine. Not great..but not awful. I think WingStop is terrible...very dry. My favorite was WingZone...I don't know if they left Houston entirely or there's just not one near me anymore, but I haven't had it in about 2 years. Other favorite is on the happy hour menu at Hotel Sorella in CityCentre.
I used to love Coozan's on Kirby when it was open. Not only were their hot wings good (Mojo was awesome) but their boudain was pretty good as well well crap...now I want hot wings.
There are two Bayou City Wings that appear to have the exact same menu as Coozan's but because of their locations, I have yet to get out there and confirm, but their wings were easily better than anything else out there. Some wings that I've tried that are really good to me. Niko Niko Wings LA crawfish (ranch 99) 5 spice basil wings Cabo (not sure if they are still open) sweet and spicy flavor wings
I really like BW3. I can't remember if it's Wing Stop or Wings and More that I hate because they put so much vinegar. Surprisingly, Texadelphia has really good wings.
Since this is turning into a "my favorite wings" spot, I'll chime in. The best wings I've ever had were sriracha-honey wings from... I guess it's the chef that runs the Modular and whatever else he does. The guy seems like a dick to be honest but the wings hit the spot. They might serve them out of that truck or at whatever restaurant he's at now. Seriously, by far the best wings I've ever had.
Basically. That being said, I've had a lot of good times at the Pluckers in West Campus. ALSO, wanted to shout out WINGZUP in the Hancock Center, 42nd and Red River
Oh man, WINGZUP! One week some friends and I decided to perform at their open mic night and it was pretty damn fun. The owners/operators were really cool about having us in there playing a couple of Indian rock songs, and the audience appreciated it too. Got a free Jack & coke and some teriyaki flavor wings to share among the three of us, and they tasted good - maybe because they were free but they were covered in sauce and crispy at the same time. Good place
A few years ago my roommate and I ordered some wings from Pizza Hut before watching the game. It was pretty good IMO. Underrated.
pluckers fried their pickles before fried pickles became cool, and they also have, bar none, the best jalapeno poppers in existence. the quality has gone hill since it has franchised itself out (tenders, in particular, their tenders dipped in sesame then drenched in ranch used to be heaven), but it's still pretty damn good.
Anyone here tried stadia? There wings are way better than BWW and wingstop too. Wish there was one in the galleria area
I did that two weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. Not a big wing fan, but those were damn good eatins.
